•••this is bit spooky one. I don't know why but I literally like this line 😁•••

Saying 'baby girl' 'my girl's or any other shits like that makes my heart melt like a popsicle on the fourth of July.

Plexi's POV

I stared at the pendant in complete amusement. What did it mean??

"Ron-Ronny gave this to you? " I managed to ask.

When? Why, you?
I had so many questions in my head and didn't really know what to start with.

"Well, he showed me this the very day Thea went missing. We were at his workplace and he had received the call about Thea there. He had drawn out this pendant and when I asked him what it symbolized, he said to me that it was similar to the one his father gave to his mother. Although, their togetherness didn't last long but still it was a beautiful representation of love expressed by a person. The pendant which his Mom wore had an angel and a boy holding hands with each other,  their hands sparkling and.. " She said pointing to the sparkling hands.

"But yours is different. " She continued.

"Ronny said that since you were his greatest gift in life and was an angel who helped him get rid of his maze, you are the angel here who seems to be rescuing a man here. " She said it with a blow.

I drew the pendant near me and absorbed what she had just said about it.

This was strange. Everything revolving around a pendant.

Was this co-incidence or fate??

I was extremely happy. Finally I was able to give Miss Greene the present I had intended giving for almost a decade. Yeh!! Why do I feel this over excited? Stupid me!!

"Yeah. Isn't Miss Greene at her desk? " I asked Ritor, who was a new intern in my office.

"I'm afraid she just left. Sir, I could assist you if you'd like"

"No, thank you. " And with that I hung up the receiver.

Assist? How could anyone take Miss Greene's place??
But where could she have gone at this point of day? And that too, without informing me?

Just then my phone buzzed. I quickly glanced at the screen when it displayed, Mum.

"Hello" I answered.

"Oh my darling! There are guests to see you and you need to come home immediatel-"

"Mum, I can't. I'm at the office and have works to do. " I interrupted her. It was simply because I didn't want to meet the guests. I know who they were!

"Oh baby. But you can't disappoint the guests, y'see. "

"Mum. I have already told you and let me tell this once more that I don't want to come and I am not coming. Do the hell you want with your guests and don't get me involved in your hospitality. "

I sprouted all my anger and finally started the feel relieved.
For few seconds, I heard giggles and whispers, footsteps and then silence. This silence was suddenly broken by the furious sound of my mother.

"You are coming home this very moment and I don't want any complains. If you deny this one more time and I will have to send my men to bring you here. "
I hung up. I had to go even if I didn't want to, or else she would create a scene in the office.
