Chapter 2: Facetiming

Jacob's Pov:
Jazmin and I had the most amazing
conversation last night and I can't wait to have more with her. I wish we lived in the same state though. But hey, at least we're in the same time zone. As soon as I woke up, I texted Jazmin and said "Goodmorning☺️" and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Every time my phone would go off, I'd get excited hoping she texted back. Maybe she was still asleep? Nah, it's 10:30. She should be up. After what seemed like FOREVER, she said "Goodmorning to you too🙃"

As soon as I saw her face, I was in awe. I knew she was beautiful but damn, she left me speechless.

I quickly snapped out of daze.

She laughed and I swear it was the most angelic thing I've ever heard. Her laugh made me laugh, so we were both just laughing and laughing. Her voice was so soothing, I could listen to it all day. We actually stayed on facetime all day. Since my parents weren't there, there weren't any interruptions. We even watched a movie together. Yes, you can watch movies together over facetime.

You know what'd be great?

If we fell asleep on facetime. So you could be the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning.

Yep. A whole 8 hours and 25 minutes.
I've never been on facetime this long.

She seemed kinda upset after I mentioned school, but I just brushed it off. Everyone hates school. Anyway, I was smiling so hard my cheeks were hurting. I know we've only been talking for two days and we don't even live in the same state but she makes me so happy. Whoever goes to school with her is incredibly lucky. I'd love to see Jazmin everyday.

Jazmin's Pov:
When I saw Jacob on facetime, my heart started beating out of chest and my stomach was doing backflips. He looked SOOOOOO good. His hazel eyes were just sparkling. His rosy cheeks were so incredibly cute. I could stare at him all day. His hair was super messy, which I found very attractive. This boy can make anything look good. Then he started talking. I never thought I could be in love with someone's VOICE, and yet, here I am. We were talking about how we thought we were catfishing each other and how messy his hair is and I started laughing. Then HE started laughing. He has the most adorable laugh ever. His laugh made me laugh even harder and I guess I made HIM laugh so we were both just dying laughing. We were on facetime ALL DAY. Usually, I would run out of things to say. But we talked about any and everything. It was incredible. Then, this happened.

But we have school tomorrow.

School, the place I hated most. Not just for the usual reasons. I hated it because it was the place that gave me anxiety, it made me insecure. I absolutely dreaded going to school. I used to be so happy to go to school, but that all changed once I moved to Georgia. I knew I had to go, but Jacob made me forget all about it. He made me forget all the hell I had to face tomorrow. God, why couldn't he be here. With me
