After my conversation with Ava and Sydney, I thought a lot about whether I wanted to actually date jack or not. The next day Ava and her family were packing to go back home. I decided to call jack and ask if he wanted to do something. He said that his band wasn't up to anything so he was free.
Jack and I walked around LA for awhile and then found this little carnival that had been going on for a couple days. "Hey I'm going to find a bathroom jack said. "Ok" I said. He left and shortly after someone came up behind me and wrapped there arms around my waist. "And how is my mysterious best friend today" the person said. "Jesus Daniel! You scared me" I said turning around to meet his blue eyes. "You know Dani is fine too" he said giving me a proper hug. "Ok Daniel" I said back with a smile. "So what are you up to today gray" Daniel asked. "Well, I'm here with a friend, he should be coming back any minute now" I told him. "Oh well, I have to go but I talked to some people and I lined up a job offer for you" he said. "Lets hang out later and we can talk about it" he winked at me as he walked away. Jack came back a little after that. "Hey I have a surprise for you" jack said. He took my hand and we walked down the street. We came up to this electronic store. "Jack what is this" I asked confused. "You will see" He said dragging me inside. He had a short conversation with the man at the front desk and the man went into the back of the store. The man came back with a small box that had a cell phone inside. "Jack, no" I told him. "Oh yes tori-Lynn" yes indeed. He took the phone out of the box and handed it to me. "This is for you and you have to except it, you can't say no" jack stated. "But jac-" I said. "No buts" he cut me off. "Social media is all the rage right now and if you are going to make it in LA your probably going to want to start some accounts" he said. "Plus if your not going to live with me I need someway to talk to you when your away, so part of this is just me being selfish" he said pecking me on the lips. I rolled my eyes and smiled at him "Hey you can't just kiss me when ever you want, you gotta earn this, I mean you haven't even asked me out yet" I said smirking. He winked and said "yet being the key word there".
We walked back To the hotel and jack said goodbye to his family. I said goodbye to Ava and gave her my new number so that we could stay in touch. Jack decided he was going to ride to the airport with them and make sure they got on their plane safely. He said that he was probably going to go home after that so he would text me tomorrow.
That gave me the rest of the night to do whatever I wanted to do. I decided to text Daniel because he wanted to hang.

Me: hey, guess who got a new phone!

Daniel: who is this?

Me: well let's see, you think I'm a mystery and I think you are adorable!

Daniel: Grayson!!

Me: bingo!

Daniel: awww you think I'm adorable!

Me: do you want to hang out or not 🙄😂

Daniel: yes yes, where are you staying I will come and get you.

  I told Daniel what hotel I was staying at and he came and got me. We went to a totally different part of town than we usually did. "I wanna take you to this really small karaoke cafe I found awhile ago." He told me. "Wow how do you find all these little places?" I asked. "I don't know I like to have somewhere peaceful to go and just think" he said.
  We got to the cafe and we sat down at a little table in the corner. There were only 2 other people there. "So how did you end up with a phone" Daniel asked as he ordered some coffee. "A friend bought it for me and he said I couldn't refuse it so here I am" I answered. "Well that worked out good for you" he said. "So now onto some businesses, I found a job that you can take, it's kinda low pay and it's an acting job with a small firm but it's a small movie and I think it would be the perfect starter job for an actor" he explained. "That sounds good" I said. "I will tell the guy that you will take it" Daniel told me. "Thank you so much Daniel, I don't know what I would have down without you" I said. "Your welcome and Dani works too by the way" he stated. "Ok Daniel" I replied. "Your an interesting one gray, I wish I could figure you out" he said. "Yah I'm a hard book to read" I said. "Help me out" Daniel said looking desperate. "Well you know I'm 17, you know I like acting, you know I speak 4 languages, ummm let me think, I have naturally red hair, this is just a crappy dye job I did when I created my dreads" I told him. "Wow I would've never guessed" he said shocked. "I don't like attention, I am an only child, and i really do think you are adorable" I said smiling at him. "We are getting there" he said laughing. "I guess if I want to know stuff about you, I should probably tell you some stuff about me" he added. "That would be helpful" I stated. "My name is Daniel James Seavey, I am in a band, I play tons of different instruments, and I am not an only child, I have three siblings" Daniel told me. "Well daniel you are a complicated man, and I'm glad I met you" I said. "You know Dani works too" he said trying so hard to get me to say it. "Ok Daniel" I said as we walked out the door.
