Ok dani

  Daniel took me back to my hotel and I fell asleep within a matter of minutes. I slept oddly well for my mental state at that point. Now that jack wanted me to be a part of his life I had no way out of either situation and I had no idea how I was going to do about Daniel, he thought he could trust me and he didn't even know my real name.
I woke up and decided to go for a jog. I shut my phone off and left the hotel. As I was jogging and thinking about what I wanted to do with my life in LA. I thought about acting and how far it could take me. Anything that would take my mind off jack and Daniel, I thought about. Before I knew it I was at the far side of the city and I was standing in front of jacks house. I rolled my eyes and turned around, I ran all the way back to my hotel. I was so tired when I got back, I had practically walked across the country but I never felt the burn like I did now.
  When I got to my hotel I turned in my phone to see that I had some texts from jack.

Jack: good morning beautiful!!
Jack: wanna hang out today?
Jack: text me when you get these

Me: heyy went for a run, let's hang today.

Just then I got a text from Daniel.

Daniel: meet me by the pier?

Me: be there in 10

*to jack

Me: hey can we push back are hang out to like 3 something came up.

Jack: Yah I'll meet u at the hotel at 3

Me: ok thx.

I walked down to the pier which thankfully wasn't that far away, I didn't have money for an Uber or anything. Daniel was waiting, leaning against the edges of the pier. "Hey" He said softly pulling me into a hug. He wasn't sad or mad, he was happy but he had a bit of a downcast to him. He pulled away from our hug and he had his hands on my waist.  Usually when I see Daniel it's more friendly and lighthearted. This time it seemed different. "You ok" I said putting my head on his chest. "Yah, I'm happy to see you" he said still speaking softly. "But stuff with my music career is picking up and I might not be around as much" he told me getting more serious. I picked my head up off his chest and looked up at him. Once again his blue eyes stole my train of thought. "Ok well are you leaving LA" I asked. "No but I'm going to be recording music more often so I won't have as much free time" he replied. I hugged him again and he kissed my forehead. This was much different that our normal behavior, but Daniel was my best friend now and I cared about him a lot. "Well we can make it work, just text me when you do have free time" I said. "Will do gray" he smiled at me. "So what is Daniel up to today" I asked. "So are you ever going to call me Dani" he said slightly laughing. "Maybe" I replied linking my arm with his and walking down the pier. We were walking arm and arm, we talked about some acting stuff and some music stuff. He would look over and smile at me once in a while. "You know I'm going to miss getting to know you over coffee" he said. "Me too" I replied. We walked for a little while longer and it was already 2:30. "I gotta go" I told him turning to face him. "Well it was nice walking with you" Daniel said. "Nice walking with you too Daniel" I said smiling. "You know dani works too" he said leaning in closer to my face. We stood there for a second before I went up on the tips of my toes and my lips touched his. He kissed me for a minute before I pulled away and smiled. "Ok Dani" I said pecking him on the lips one more time before walking back to my hotel. I was thinking about Daniel and I started freaking out, this makes me a cheater! I can't believe myself. I told myself that Dani and I were just friends What was I thinking. I got back to my room and flopped down on the bed. It wasn't long before jack knocked on the door. "Come in" I yelled from the bed. "And how is my Victoria today" he smiled hugging me from behind. "Your Victoria" I grinned. "Well, if you want to be" he replied looking at me. "Well duh" I said quickly turning around and kissing him. "Good" He said pulling away. "So how was your thing this morning" he asked. "Good I just had to got talk to someone about the acting job I got offered." I lied. "Well I hope it went well" he replied.
We watched some tv and ordered a pizza. I fell asleep in jacks arms halfway through the movie. He fell asleep shortly after and neither of us found out how the movie ended. It was around 8:00 now and me and jack were awake cuddling in my bed. "Hey you want to go for a late night swim" jack said kissing my forehead. "Where? Didn't you say that the guys were at your house" I asked. "I know the perfect place" jack smiled grabbing my hand and pulled me out of bed. He got on the phone with some number I didn't recognize.

Jack: hey, Yah it's jack I need to ask a favor.

Caller: Yah

Jack: can I use your pool?

Caller: I guess why?

Jack: well I have a girl—

Jack walked into the bathroom and the conversation trailed off for awhile until jack came back.

Jack: k thx Logan!
*call ended*

"Who is Logan?" I asked puzzled. "Just a friend" jack said with a smile. "Now get a bathing suit on and let's go" he finished. I got up and changed into a bathing suit and we walked out the door.
