Cries rang around the forest
As a young cub fell from a tree
The owls fled, and crows approached
The mother wept in pain for thee

The youngster was pushed
Last thoughts full of despair
The crows flew her body away
Never giving a care

But as this poem goes by
One will realize
The animals were actually
Humans before your eyes

For as this poem is said
The species are playing roles
The cub a girl, the crows as police,
The bear as a mother, and owls as humans
And the "owls" words took great tolls

As the girls body hung
They realized what they'd done
They fled the scene
A quick, quiet run

The girl was defenseless
The humans are cruelest
The police are cold hearted
The mother is the saddest

But deep down, we all know
So many people do this on there own
Because body's may be strong
But depression is stronger and unknown
