Chapter Three

Xander's POV

I drive down an old dirt road and see the forest swallow the car. We drive deeper down the road. I get to a huge house.

"Wow" I hear Evelyn gasp.

"This is the pack house my house is up the road" I chuckle watching her eyeball the house.

I drive down the road and pull up to a huge house. Evelyn's eyes get even bigger. I laugh a little bit louder at her expression.

"I get a good few of mountains and the beach" I said parking the car.

"This is a mansion not a house" she says getting out.

I hold her hand walking inside. I see her eyes light up to the huge area.

Evelyn's POV

"Does anybody live with you" I ask taking in the view.

He shakes his head. I stand in awe at the huge area.

"Let me show you our room" he says taking me upstairs.

"Our room?" I asked

"Yes we're mates I get to sleep with you" he says "not like sex well one day we will mate after I mark you but not now unless you ask for sex but for now we just sleep together."

I blush and walk in his room. I mean our room as he calls it. I look at the huge chandelier over a table. I flip on the bed and feel the satin sheets.

"Your house is beautiful" I compliment.

"Our house" he looks at me with a stern look.

I walk to the closet and see there is already clothes with my size in there and shoes.

"How did you uh do the whole uh closet thing" I stutter in shock

"I had my beta go shopping for you I checked your size on your dress and shoes" he responds

"Do you have a pool" I ask

"Yes" he chuckles

"Can I go swimming I've never been swimming" I ask politely

He nods and I go and look at the selection of bathing suits. I grab the black one with matching bottoms. I grab a white towel and walk out. He's in his swimming trunks with a towel.

We walk out to the pool. It gives me a great few of the forest. I smile when I breath in the fresh air. I felt free and relaxed. My brother will nev-. I started to panic and hide behind Xander. He gives me a confused look.

"What's wrong mon amour" he says to me.

"They are going to find me and drag me back to Georgia. They might actually kill me this time. They don't believe in the whole mate thing they won't understand. I need to get ho-" I get cut off by Xander kissing me.

It felt like fireworks going off. I felt loved for once. He deepens the kiss and trails down my neck. He reaches the spot where he is supposed to mark me but pulls back.

"They will never find you and I have guards everywhere they will never reach you" he pets my head and rubs his hands through my hair.

I wanted to kiss him again and feel his love for me. But I get interrupted by him setting our towels down. I look at him as he jumps in the water making some splash on me. I laugh at him. I scared myself by my laugh because I have never gotten to laugh before. He smiles at me and wants me to get in.

"I don't know how to swim" I said touching the water with my toe "I'm also 5'1 and can't touch the bottom"

He grabs my waist and pulls me in. I go under the water and come up for air flapping my arms around. He grabs my waist and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his waist so I can't fall. He holds onto me tightly.

"Jerk" I splashed water on him giggling.

He kisses my cheek and holds me closer to him. I start to chatter my teeth because it's freezing. His body heat keeps me warm. I blush and lay my head in his neck. He walks around holding me.

"Do you want to try swimming this time" he asks

I nod in approval. I try to touch the bottom but can't find it and I freak out. He picks me back up sits me on side of the pool.

"Watch me" he starts doing strokes with his arms going forward.

I study his actions and watch him go to one side and back to me. I smile and clap for him. He takes a bow and pulls me into the water gently. I try to do what he does and only ends up swatting my arms at the water.

"No" he chuckles "here I hold you stomach up to you can try it"

He places his hand on my stomach gently. His other hand goes over my back. I start to try again at swimming. It starts to work and I giggle as I keep doing it.

"I'm doing it" I laugh impressed with myself.

He smiles at me and pulls me towards him. I wrap my legs around him bear hugging him. He gets out carrying me. My teeth chatter more because of the wind hitting me. He wraps a towel around me then picks me back up. We go up to his room and sits me on the bed. I feel lonely without him and run to hug him.
He chuckles and picks me up again. He showers me kisses all over my face. I giggle holding him tighter.

"Go put on some pajamas and we can cuddle" he says putting me down

I go and change quickly into one of his shirts. I put on some blue and white pajama bottoms. I walk back out and see him smile at me.

"I got you clothes for a reason" he chuckles.

I smile blushing then go to hug him again. He has on grey pajama pants but no shirt. I can see his six pack from a mile away. His biceps are the most beautiful thing ever. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around him.

"I can get used to this" I blush.
