Prologue A-1 (Origins)

"I've finally done it... with this being I'll finally be able to cure you Maria. No longer will you suffer from your N.I.D.S ever again!" Exclaimed an elderly scientist to a young woman standing near him. The woman had long golden hair and brown eyes along with cherry lips and a gentle face. The woman was beautiful but frail as she was living with her disease that was robbing her of her life from the moment she was born, that is until now.

Maria: "Yes Grandfather, I'm glad you were able to finish your project but I never knew you would go this far just to cure me". The grandchild known as Maria Robotnik was worried about her grandfather who spent days working on his top secret project that no one knew except for her. They were both inside a dark room standing side by side and in front of them was a transparent chamber filled with water. But inside the chamber was a being, no, it was the project that Professor Gerald Robotnik had created. A human shaped male was in suspended animation as if he was in a deep sleep with cables attached to various parts of his body. The young man had hair as dark as the deep space surrounding them with shades of red at the ends of his hair as well as red outlines on his eyes. With a body that seemed as if it was in top physical shape, along with a six pack and dense muscles, the young man seemed to be a few inches taller than Maria who was 5'6 in. He was only wearing briefs and nothing else but what stood out were his ears, he had a pair of what looked like cat ears on his head and a small, thin tail to which Maria was surprised to see as well as what looked like a tattoo on his side.

Gerald: "Of course I would. You are the only grandchild I have and you are what remains of my daughter and her husband who I wish them peace beyond this life of ours."

Maria: "....Thank you Grandfather".
Gerald: "There is no need for thanks my child, first we must cure you by using his blood to create a vaccine now that he has stabilized". The professor stared at his creation while speaking to Maria. The project is now ready to be used in his studies to create medicines that would benefit mankind but first, he would prioritize his ailing granddaughter who seemed fine on the outside but he knew better, she was weak and in pain but not for long. ("Finally Maria, you will be set free from the pain thanks to this young man...") As he stood there with Maria he slowly reached to the control panel on the chamber with the button labeled 'Awaken' and pressed the button. As soon as he did, the young man shuddered then slowly opened his eyes..... to be continued.
