This kid....

So, many of you know David, and if you don't...WELL YOU BETTA ASK SOMEBODY! Haha, no joke. He has two accounts, bookworm_D being one of them. He was the second person that I had met on here, the first being Lacy also known as laceupinspace but she is for another page ( I adore her!)

Umm, *coughs* anyways... She was telling me about the website and how to attain readers and make new friends and consequently suggested I should check out someone called David. I was very new and when I checked out his page and saw his followers, I literally sat back for a moment and thought..'Over a thousand followers? There is no way in hell he is ever gonna speak to me!' Who was I compared to the bagillion other people who wanted to talk to him? And a lot of people called him "Kitty" which I soon came to find out was his signature endearment here on watty.

So I followed him, without reading any works. Just so I could have it on my profile page until I mustered up the courage to speak to the lad. But soon after following, he responded to me in a quirky comment that I can't remember now (yeah, my memory is god awful sometimes) basically telling me he appreciated the follow and hoped I enjoyed his works or something like that. What was going through my mind at the time was : "Ahhh! He talked to me!"

Don't get me wrong, I didn't think he was a god or anything. I just wanted to have a conversation with him but didn't think I could because of all his followers. And let me tell you what I learned kids...just because people have a lot of followers doesn't mean they are egotistical assholes who think they are high and mighty. Though some people do, David certainly wasn't the case. He invited me to chat with him any time.

So I PMed him randomly for a week and I enjoyed the conversations we had. Time zones weren't always on our side but it made me learn more about him. And I wanted to know more so I read his 31 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a fun project where you learn about someone as they answer specific questions for a particular day. Eddie's awesome!!! Anyways, I commented a lot and wanted to check out his works. I believe that a great writer gives a tiny piece of their souls to their works, and when I read David's works I saw him in a whole new light...

The kid is truly brilliant.

Each thing I read seemed effortless in its beautiful mysterious technic of writing which is only unique to David. Even now when I read an update I feel a bit envious of the serious talent he has. The way of writing is so hypnotic and thrilling that it leaves me breathless at some moments. His poetry is lovely as well. "Looney Tunes" is an amazing book that you should definitely check out if you haven't guys. Those who have, you know what I'm talking about right?

My fingers are sooo ready to run off and meet his under the mango tree and run away together!!! *winks at David and then looks at the confused reader* What?!

"Inside my head" sheds a little more light than 31 days on the wonderful person we call Dee and contains in depth pain though between the words shows an amazing strong person who is a joy to many people here on watty. Hell, if he's gone for even a day people might just freak! Not because he's popular. But because he's himself.

He's just our David...

He is why I count my blessings.
