Putting Everyone Asleep

(Inside the castle. King Marshall and the Queen sit on their throne. Zuma approaches Marshall.)

Zuma: Marshall, there's something important I have to tell you.

Marshall: Not now, Zuma.

Zuma: But it's about Chase.

Marshall: Chase, oh yes, of course, Chase, why, where is the boy?

Zuma:That's what I'm telling to tell you.

Stefan: Well, send for him immediately!

Zuma: But ...

(A fanfare sounds outside.)

Announcer: The sun has set, make ready to welcome your princess!

(The crowd before the castle cheers, and fireworks are shot into the sky. the tower. the fairies crying at a bed they have placed Skye on, with a red rose in her hand. They go onto the balcony and see the cheering crowd.)

Katie: Poor King Marshall and the Queen.

Everest: They'll be heartbroken when they find out.

Goodway: They're not going to.

Everest: They aren't?

Goodway: We'll put them all to sleep, until Skye awakens. Come!

(They fly around the castle, putting everyone to sleep. Goodway has just put the spell on Zuma. While drifting off to sleep, he says ...)

Zuma: Well, just been talking to Chase. Seems he's fallen in love with some peasant girl.

Goodway: Peasant girl? Yes, yes? The peasant girl, who is she? Where did he meet her?

Zuma: Just some peasant girl he met.

Goodway: Where, where?

Zuma: Once upon a dream. (finally falls asleep)

Goodway: Once upon a dr... Skye! Prince Chase! (flies to Katie and Everest) Come on, we've got to get back to the cottage!
