I miss you , a lot actually. I wish you were still in my life. I wish I was still the girl you desired . I wish I was still the girl that puts a smile on your charming face. But what's the point of wishing , when my wishes won't come true

You took my heart and shattered it into many pieces. I envy you

Letter:03

I love you
I want you,but I can't have you
I need you
You're my breath
But I seem to be suffocating these days since you won't return to my heart that beats for you only.

These are the letters that gradually healed my aching soul. I wrote them day in and day out to my ex lover. But I never gained the courage to send them, I was too much of a coward I guess. When he left me I became a laughing stalk to everyone . All of my friends turned their backs from me. I was so confused. The only person who stood by my side was my bestfriend Katalia . I had no idea how to handle our break up. Which happened 8 months ago but my heart is still pouring tears of sorrow

Right now I'm in Mr Brown's English class. Nobody is paying attention to what he's saying as always but we are paying attention to his handsome face . Mr Brown looks like he came straight out of a high fashion magazine cover. He looks better than half the male models I know. If he were to take off his cream white long sleeved shirt I'm sure he'd reveal hard-core abs. All the guys in our class loath him. The girls are in awe with him, including the female teachers.
Today he seems to be talking about metaphors and personification but I can't really hear him since I'm focusing on his face. The boys in our class celebrate as they hear the bell screech throughout the school, signalling end of the lesson.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow and remember to finish page 5 of your poetry booklet" says Mr Brown with his husky voice. "So, have you seen him yet?" Asks my bestfriend Katalia as she puts her stationary into her pencil case. Confused I ask who the hell she's talking about ."The hot new guy, daaah" she says rolling her eyes. "Nope , haven't seen him and I don't want to see him" I say walking out the class. Katalia raises her eyebrows at me.

"Why don't you want to see him?"

"I don't know , I'm just not feeling him"

"Seriously" she says throwing pink gum into her small mouth "You don't even know the guy"

"So?" I ask looking straight into her dark brown eyes

"So?" She asks dramatically "you can't judge a person you don't know"

"I'm not judging him " I say innocently

Katalia shakes her head at me "well" she says, " you're going to see him a lot, since he lives right next to you" . "And how do you know" I ask letting out a little laugh. Katalia starts laughing softly. "I just know" she says . I roll my eyes at her playfully.

We head out the school gate and make our way back home. On our way we laugh crazily ,joke around and enjoy our friendship. Spending time with my bestfriend helps me forget, forget about the day he decided to walk out of my life. Forget about the good times I shared with him and the the bad times. I just forget everything , I become free. Free to be myself , free to enjoy life and live life to the fullest .

We reach my house located at number 53. Katalia points to the next house , number 52. "Won't you be a sweetheart and say hi to your neighbour for me" she says jokingly using a British accent. "Seriously " I say trying not to laugh. "He doesn't live here" . " whatever" she says giving me a warm hug. "See you tomorrow" . "See you tomorrow" I say walking up the drive way. As I open the door I'm greeted by different aromatic herbs. My stomach grumbles loudly as I rush to the kitchen. "What are you cooking today" I ask while giving my mom a quick hug. "Lasagne" she says with a smile. My stomach grumbles even more. We laugh lightly. "Someone's hungry" mom says with a teasing tone. " I'm starving" I say, placing my school bag in the corner of the kitchen. "Dinner will be ready in a minute" mom says sweetly. I take out two plates from the cupboard and gently place them on the counter. Then the thought of the new hot guy rushes into my mind. "Hey mom" I say taking out two folks and knives. "Yes sweety" she responds " Is there a new family living at number 52" I ask curiously. My mom looks at me confused as ever. "Not that I know of" she responds . I shake my head at the thought of my bestfriend lying to me. "What makes you ask that?" "Its just that I heard a new family moved in there" I respond to my mother's question while taking a seat preparing myself for a delicious dinner. "The only new neighbours we have live just around the corner" mom says placing a large piece of lasagne on my plate. "Mrs Goldy still lives right next to us and I don't think that's about to change any time soon" I giggle at my mom's response because Mrs Goldy is the oldest person here in Morningside, she's lived here her whole life. I don't think she's ever moving out.
