Unspoken Feelings [Tom Hiddleston X Reader]

It's hard to move on to something that was never there at the begin with. How can you say that you no longer love him if he doesn't even give you a reason not to? Can you actually say goodbye to a feeling so strong? How can you escape him if wherever you go you see his face? Tom Hiddleston, fame is making it hard for you to forget about him.

You are happy for his success and all, but because of that it, it seems like wherever you go he is like a ghost hunting you. There you are looking at your TV screen and The Avengers is playing.

"You have come a long way..." palming your face "...and here I am like a mad woman talking to a screen. Come on [Y/N], it's almost two years you can't just give in because you see his face in TV looking Godly good looking." Then your phone rings almost giving you a heart attack.

"[Y/N]!! I have great news for you!!!" That would be Nick your boyfriend. Guilt eats you up. How can you forget about him? He is the guy who shows you that you can be love unreservedly.

"Hey." You tried to sound cheerful but failed.

"Baby, are you okay?" He is worried.

"I'm good, no worries I just woke up that's all." Now you just want the floor to open and eats you alive "So, what's the good news?"

"Oh! Yeah! You won't believe it but our restaurant will be feature in a magazine. They're going to use our place for a photoshoot." Nick is so excited and you couldn't help but to laugh.

"Baby, I'm so happy for you but it's your restaurant not ours."

"Well someday you'll be my wife, so I'm just practicing." You can tell that the latter is grinning on the other end of the line "Photoshoot will be in 2 days and I want you to be there."

"And I'll be there." You couldn't help but to smile.

"I love you." He said lovingly.

"I love you too."

You mean it. You love him dearly. You met him when you move and he courted you for a year. Not once you heard him complain, instead he adores you even more. The pain of moving on lessen. There are even times that you were able to forget about Tom. That somehow you manage to forget the pain in your heart.

The day of the photoshoot came, the restaurant is busy. People running from here and there. You saw Nick talking to someone when you arrived. He excused himself to welcome you.

"Hey, baby, finally you are here." Taking a peck of your lips. "You are just in time."

"Hi, good morning, you must be the owner, Nick?" That voice sounds familiar "I'm Tom Hiddleston."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Hiddleston. I'm Nick and yes, I'm the owner."

"Please, just Tom." It is him. For years that you tried to run away from him, there he is standing in front of you.

"[Y/N]?" Tom's expression changes, he is happy and surprise "I.. wow! You are here." Old habits are hard to change, he pulled you for an embrace locking you in his arms. Oh how you've missed his smell. "I've missed you. How are you?" Taking a better look of you "you look great."

"Thanks, Tom. I'm good." You pulled away and holds Nick hand. You need him, to remind you that he is all you have and you left Tom along with your feelings for him. There, where you belong; beside Nick. The guy you choose to love.

"Wait you know each other?" Nick was confused.

"Yes and she owes me stories. Right, [Y/N]?" He added smiling at both of you and Nick "So you must be the lucky lad who sweep her off her feet?"

"Yes, he is the unfortunate one. No worries Tom, maybe later we can catch up" You said faking a smile.

"I'll take your words for it but for now I have work to do." He said as one of the staff called him "Don't go anywhere, alright?" Tom added looking at you again.

"Go, well talk later."

Giving you a quick kiss in the cheeks "Definitely. Nick, don't let this woman go anywhere." He added patting Nick in the shoulder.

"She is where she belongs." Nick responds making you and Tom chuckled.

"I like this guy." Tom commented smiling at both of you. "Later, guys."

"I'm not going nowhere, Mr. Hiddleston." You respond acting calm but deep inside you just want to run away and hide from him again. You know that seeing and talking to him might bring back memories that you've buried deep down in your mind.

"So you know each other and you didn't tell me?" Nick asked making you back to reality.

Looking at him "Yes, he is one of my friend back in London. I actually didn't expect that he will remember me." Seeing Nick reaction, you couldn't help but to sigh "don't tell me you're feeling insecure."

Sighing, Nick smiled "No, I am not."

"Come on now, I'm here where I belong."

You said kissing him in the check which Tom saw. Shrugging the unfamiliar feelings. "Come on Tom, you are just not used to see her like that with other men."
