A Nekton's Christmas ( little Christmas skit for The deep)

Ice skating catastrophe

This chapter also takes place from the past, just giving you guys a quick heads up.
It was the day before Christmas eve, and the nekton family decided to go ice skating, before the start of their busy day tomorrow. To Ant and Fontaine, it going to be their first time ice skating, which was pretty scary for the two Nekton siblings. There was a huge pond in a small park just about a few minutes from their house. "So, how are you two feeling about your first time ice skating?" Kaiko said, as she gave everyone their pair of skates. "Well, to be honest with you mom,we're a little nervous." Fontaine said, as she puts on her pair of ice skates, and Ant nodded in agreement as he puts on his pair of ice skates. "No need to worry, I don't need to brag but, you mother is a professional when it comes to ice skating." As Will places his hand by, his wife's shoulder. Will was right about one thing, his wife was a professional ice skater but, compared to himself and the kids, they were struggling. Kaiko laughed, "Ant, Fontaine let me help you guys, you two Will I can tell you're struggling."  As kaiko taught every guideline of ice skating, which lead to better results. Ant,Fontaine, and Will were now getting around pretty well. Now it was all fun and games for the entire family, that was until the ice eventually started cracking. They took small, and easy footsteps trying no to make things worse. ,which resulted with Ant slipped and actually breaking through the ice. "Ant, are you okay?" Will said, lending his son a helping hand. "Yeah, may have to change, but I'm fine." Ant said, as he grabbed his father's hand, and getting back up and they all had a great laugh. "Well then,we might as well start heading home, it's going to be dark out soon." As Kaiko began putting on her snow boots. As soon as everyone was all set, they started heading a course for home, where they can just snuggle up and stay warm.
