A Nekton's Christmas ( little Christmas skit for The deep)

A new holiday tradition?

It was a simple and slow, late Sunday afternoon for the Nekton family, as there wasn't any suspicious activity within the area. Which gives them the perfect time to set up their Christmas tree. As the entire family headed down to the living room, the two siblings were already ahead. This gave Kaiko a chance to tell Will, about an idea that she had been planning on doing since last month. "Will, can I have a word with you for a moment?" She said leaving a smile, which made Will laugh a bit. "Sure, anything for my beautiful and loving wife. What is it?" As Will stopped in the middle of the hallway. "Well if you let me whisper the plan in your ear, I can let you know." As Kaiko bops her husband's nose. Kaiko began whispering every single detail about the plan, and how to surprise Ant and Fontaine. Once they enter the living room, operation: set up the Christmas tree began, and when their kids weren't looking, Will would just wink at her. The tree was just about done, the final decoration was the star, and this year it was kaiko's turn to place the golden star on top but, sadly she couldn't reach that high. "Will, a little help here." As she tried not to knock over the tree. Will helped his wife by, carrying her piggyback style which was beneficial, and just like that the tree is completely done and everyone cheered."Wait Ant, Fontaine, we need you two to sit down for a minute, we have something to tell you." The two nekton siblings looked at each other and just went it because, it was probably something important, so they both sat on the couch. "So, we were thinking, well technically I was thinking that the family should have matching pajamas as a new holiday tradition." Kaiko said, leavening a cheerful smile. " So, what do you guys think?" Will said, placing a hand on Kaiko's shoulder. "That's awesome!" They both said at the same time, which,Will and Kaiko find it pretty cute. It was just after midnight, and Kaiko woke up to cuddling against her husband's chest, and guessing that Ant and Fontaine are in their rooms asleep. She quietly looked at the family photo and everyone was happy. Then, looked up right at Will and did a quick kiss on the lips, which made him smile in his sleep, and then Kaiko went back to sleep, with a smile on her face. She was grateful to have such an amazing family, and a perfect husband.
