Do you know how extremely hard it is to be weary of every man you meet?
Every second alone is spent in almost complete terror, wondering if I'd be able to defend myself.
I'm terrified.
This fear is set in the minds of girls when they are young, and extends until death.
The thoughts make our chests constrict and our throats ache.
The idea of being violated, in the worst possible way, is a constant fear.
Even alone in bed.
Especially on the street, in the bars, and at school.
But the fact that girls think about, and actually live through situations where men come into their bedrooms, their beds, the place where they were taught as babes to be the safest, well,
Its sickening.
