Roses
(Mari's POV):
Calum decided to invite all of our friends over for a "special surprise" tonight. One Direction, Michael, Ashton, Luke, some other of our famous friends and then some from our homes. "Ok everyone quiet down!" Louis stands up on our table, holding a beer in left hand and a note in his right I think. "Mari, this is from Calum." He walks over, handing me the paper. I smile and open it up, everyone waiting to hear what it says. "Mari, for the first part you need to find our special place. There have been a lot of sad, happy, and shocking memories made here. I always bring breakfast up to you there. Good luck xx" I look around at everyone before going upstairs to our bedroom, seeing a note on our bed. My smile widens as I open it up, our guests walking into the room. "Good job remembering our special place. There will be a few memories made in here tonight;)" I blush red, hearing a few laughs behind me. "Now for the next challenge. We took this home from our first date after you moved in, hope you remember this well. Good luck xx" I bite my lip, raising an eyebrow. "We went to Starbucks but..I don't remember bringing anything home." I hold both of the notes in my hand before smiling and pushing past everyone, going downstairs to the kitchen. I reach up into one of the cabinets, grabbing a menu. We had written cute notes to each other on it. "You're getting better at these challenges. That one was hard, but good job. Now for the last challenge..there is a flower you love. Find the petals and follow them. Good luck xx" I hold the notes in my hands, walking around the flat looking for the petals. When I get to the back door leading outside I see rose petals leading out of it. I smile softly, following them outside. They lead to a archway in our backyard, roses scattered over our porch and yard. The archway has rose vines flowing in and out of it, little lights weaving in with them. Everyone comes out on the porch, smiling and looking around. "Mari, I've loved you from the second I saw you. Your beauty, your laugh and smile, your personality. Everything about you is perfect in my eyes, I love how you have small flaws and you accept them just as I have. You never leave my mind, every second of every day of every week and month, you're always on my mine. You have my heart, I have yours and I never plan on them being returned. You stole my heart and now I'm offering you something else. My last name." Calum walks around me as he talks before getting down on one knee in front of me. "Mari, I want to grow old with you and have the most beautiful children with you that anyone has ever seen. Will you do the honor in marrying me?" He pulls out a box, a diamond ring placed in the middle of it. Tears stream down my cheeks as I nod my head quickly, smiling. "Yes, a million times yes." He slips the ring on my finger before taking me in his arms, kissing me. "I love you Calum." I whisper softly, kissing him once more.
