Harry

"Okay" I breathed.

It was now or never. I was about to tell someone about the worst year of my life. I just hope I can get through this without crying.

"It happened about 3 years ago. I had just turned 16 and I was starting to get comfortable with being gay...

*FLASHBACK 3 YEARS AGO*

"Liam just promise me you won't tell anyone." I pleaded

"Of course. Harry you're my best friend I wouldn't do that to you" liam assured me.

"Thank god" I said relieved.

I went along through my day without an incident from the jocks. It was one of the good days. No yelling from my parents, no being shoved into a locker or beaten. My day was looking up. I don't want to jinx it so I pushed the thoughts away. I smiled a bit more through the day. Waving at people who said hello to me. That was interesting. I didn't care though. I leave my last class of the day going to my locker and getting books that I would need for homework and putting back books I wouldn't need.

"Hey H. Walking home today?" Liam asked from beside me.

"Yeah I have no choice, Carrington gave me detention yesterday for not completing an essay apparently." I rolled my eyes as I closed my locker.

"Good luck mate. I told you taking a senior class wouldn't help you much this year." Liam shrugged, walking off to leave the wretched school.

I slipped my bag onto my back and headed down the hallway straight to where most of the senior classes were. I slowed down once I spotted a few seniors standing outside the classroom. I took a deep breath, forced my anxiety down as i began to walk over.

"What's going on? Isn't Carrington in there?" I asked the light haired boy.

"yeah, he's not here yet. He's probably hooking up with Miss Blane in the teachers lounge again." He said with a smile.

"Oh. Well if he was planning to do so, he shouldn't have gave out detentions." I said and I earned a laugh from the older lad.

"Names Kyle" he said and stuck his hand out for a shake.

"Harry" I said taking his hand to shake.

"You're not a senior are you?" Kyle asked whilst crossing his arms and facing me more.

"Oh," I laughed a bit, "no I'm a sophomore" I said.

"Ah 16, those were the days man." He said leaning back into the wall.

"Well seeing as these are my days." I shrugged and laughed awkwardly.

Kyle smiled at me. " do wanna ditch and go get something to eat, because we're gonna be here for another hour before Blane and Carrington are done" he laughed.
