Today has been the worst day ever. My first and only boyfriend broke up with me and I found out that my best friend committed suicide. I was alone now more than ever because my family had just died in a car accident in the beginning of the month so I was living alone. The only people I could have vented to just died and left me, so I was an emotional wreck. As I was walking from the bus stop, I tripped and fell down onto the side walk. That was the moment everything started to go wrong. I started to cry my eyes out right there on the side of the road, pulling my legs in my chest and wrapping my arms around them.
I cried for a good couple of minutes, until I noticed something soft touch my legs I look up and see a black cat and a hedgehog snuggling up to me. I looked ate them with confusion. Then I realized that they were trying to comfort me. "aww" I say to them "are you guys trying to comfort me" they looked up and made the most adorable animal noise's I had ever heard. It was like they understood what I just said. "thank you" I say to them both. then I have the most brilliant idea. "say, would you guys like to come home with me?" I ask them, and again it was like they understood me and they did those noise's to agree. So I took them home.
That moment I decided to take them home was the turning point of my life, and I didn't even know it.
