After watching the episode about the VX gas I got this idea:
What if Mac had a girlfriend who was a part of the team & she was the one exposed by the gas, she was helped out of the warehouse by both Mac & Jack & later when she wakes up in the hospital Mac is by her side worried & blaming himself because he loves her so much.
Later after being released from the hospital she watches the film with Mac that Jill was able to restore or whatever.
