Mr.Razor above
When I woke up, I wasn't registering anything. I was just blankly staring at the ceiling until someone cleared their throat. I slowly turned my head towards them. Was this the Pierce guy from earlier. He's adorable.
"Finally awake, sleeping beauty?" He asked. Pierce was leaning against a wall right next to the door watching me.
"..."
"Don't talk, that's fine, but not talking and staring at me like that, that's kinda scary. Like one of those unresponsive guys in those scary hospital movies that suddenly jump at you," He referenced.
"Hn," was my only response. I turned back to stare at the ceiling.
"You're not even gonna ask where you are?" Pierce asked me as he walked to my bedside.
"The use?" I rose an eyebrow.
"So you do talk. You have a nice voice, like those kpop guys or whatever those girls listen to. You should use it more," Pierce commented.
"I used to... I don't think I will a lot anymore. Same with my smile."
"Damn him. You seemed like a cheerful kid. I've been briefed and I swear, Phoenix, I will protect you." He grabbed both of my hands and put them on his chest after I sat up.
"I swear it. I've never told this to anyone else, not even my parents before they stuck me here, but I feel this sort of attraction towards you."
I furrowed my brows. I may be dense, but I'm not that dense. He blushed heavily before letting go of my hands and looking away.
"N-not like that! I-I'm gonna go tell Mr.Razor you're awake," He cleared his throat and walked out.
"What is happening?" I asked myself.
My parents weren't killed in that car crash. We were paralyzed in the crash. My mom was knocked out and my dad had tried his best to protect us, but he couldn't move one of his arms. I watched him murder them with his own hands, then he came to me and fucked up my life. I will kill him. For you, mom, dad. I will kill Vincent.
"If you're thinking about revenge or avenging, those terms are both the same in my book, stop." Mr. Razor's was standing at the door watching me. I was glaring at my lap with my fist balled and my hair shadowing my face. His voice kinda startled me since it was so deep and sudden(Shut up).
"It's not what your parents would've wanted."
"How do you know what my parents would've wanted!" I snapped my head towards him.
"Because they warned me. They had someone see into the future and knew this would happen."
"And they didn't think to try and stop it!?" I stood from bed.
"Phoenix, get back in bed." Pierce was behind him.
"You can't change the future. Phoenix. They had to let it play through. They told me that they were sorry they couldn't spend more time with you and celebrate that normal life."
"Why didn't they at least tell me. What good does it do now that they're dead?" I fisted my hair.
"Stop it, Phoenix. You're gonna hurt yourself." Razor took both of my wrists in his hands.
"Listen to me, Phoenix. You wouldn't have been able to do anything even if you tried."
"How do you-"
"Because I do. Vincent is too strong. You all were at a disability. Vincent plays unfair. If you unleash that power that this amulet contains, he'd win."
