I know I told you I haven't stolen anything, but you knew I am not quite trustful. I mean, I'm the trickster, what were you thinking. After running away with the Casket of Ancient Winters from my brother, I locked myself in my chamber knowing Thor wouldn't be around for a while and sat down on my bed and pored over the blue device with such curiosity like a child discovering a new gizmo. But nothing seemed to occur with this odd crystal object until I hung my hands on each side of the rectangular-shaped device as my hands switched colour from my original pale skin to a blue one with tribal lines traced all over my hands. I couldn't believe my eyes... So, I am a Jötunn... a frost giant from Jötunheimr. Why... my parents didn't tell me about my origins? However, I must find a way to make into the Bifröst not letting anybody recognize me and even less Heimdallr. I quickly hid the Casket underneath my bed when I heard someone was knocking at my door."

'Whom?'

'Prince Loki, my name is Ava, your maid. Does your Highness need my assistance?'

"Ava...? I frowned my dark eyebrows in confusion, keeping repeating the maid's name in my head. 'When did I...?' I muttered to myself and then I sat up clumsily from my bed. Oh, I remember now. I fast walked to the door to eventually greet Ava, my new maid."

'Night, Ava'

'Good night prince Loki'

"She was clearly shorter than I but she had dark hair like mine, and green iris as well. She bowed down to me and then a sickly little smile grew across my face seeing hers. I locked us in my chamber and traipsed around Ava looking at her up and down with utter assiduity, rubbing my chin with my slender fingers in a pensive manner. She looked young, maybe around 1048 years old. I walked closer to Eva, making her lift her head to me so I could study her lineaments, heedfully."

'Do you mind, your Highness, if I ask you what is happening?'

'I might need your total discretion and make sure you will keep this to you and I will probably increase your salary. Otherwise, I kill you, 'Capisci'?

"Ava nodded reluctantly, her eyes looking at the ground, her hands held at each other. A little smile of confidence crept on to my face taking on an air of superiority yet not swallowing my proud. How I like this feeling. I took her hand and drag her in front of my bed but she suddenly backed off showing an expression of fear. I frowned a bit of confusion and then I gaze her eyes fixing at my canopy bed."

'Uh! No-no-no-no-no-no-no! It is not what you believe, Ava. I-well... uh... Just give me a second.'

"I bent down to reach the Casket of Ancient Winters and showed it to the maid. She knitted her eyebrows of confusion and asked what was all about. Well, Ava, you shall learn a lot from my side. We sat down on my mattress for approximatively a good hour, telling her the story of my life from the beginning to now and elucidated the reason of my intentions. I also spoke about Thor, and what my feelings are about. Who I hated and who I loved. And for the people I hate, the list was extremely long contrary to those I love which meant I was kind of a lonesome living being. I am a broken heart living being, to be honest. Did I know about love, first of all? I don't believe so... I'm quite unpredictable."

'Well, tomorrow at the crack of dawn, you'll show up to Odin with the Casket of Ancient Winters in your hands ready to listen to your last sentence.'

"Ava nodded reluctantly and left the chamber without a sound. I stayed quiet for about minutes, thinking about what happened earlier with Thor and the warriors 3. I looked over my bruised wrists rubbing my left wrist with my thumb, it wasn't a major contusion anyway... just a bit red not that much..."
