Anna stood in front of her class and cleared her throat. No need. The class was already paying attention. She felt giddy.
"Hey guys!" Anna chirped. A hush fell over the class as she continued to introduce herself. Anna gulped, the multitudinous beady eyes staring up at her. She cleared her head and continued.
"First off, let me say that I am more than happy to be here. I'm sure you have all had a rough summer. I know I did."
(A/N: HAHAH I AM NOT ABLE TO WRITE ITS BEEN SO LONG I HAVE NO MOTIVATION)
She heard a couple of hushed laughs from the students. I cleared my throat and started to pace at the front of the class, eyeing the students comically.
"Now, let me tell you about me. First of all, My name is Mrs. Anna, but you can call me whatever the hell you like." I smirked as the class erupted in laughter; it was obvious that they hadn't had a fun teacher in a while.
"Secondly, in this class, we are accepting. No matter what. Don't like writing? That's fine. You love writing? That's fine too. You feel sad? We are all here for one another. I trust you all get the gist?" I asked the class. They all nodded vigorously. One hand shot up in the air, belonging to a boy in the third row. I smiled and motioned for him to ask his question.
"Hi Mrs. Anna! I have a question."
"And I have an answer." I replied.
"Oh, uh, cool!" The kid stuttered, his friends stifling laughter around him. "How old are you?"
I smiled. I was planning on keeping that a secret; why did they need to know? "I am as old as the universe, my friend. Now come on everyone, open your textbook to chapter five." I joked. They all stared at me, jaws hanging. I laughed heartily, clutching my stomach. I walked to the door, grabbing my jacket.
"PSHHH, ahhahaha I'm just kidding guys! I'm not like that, I'm a fucking boss, and we about to learn today! Grab your stuff, we're going on a field trip. Oh, and I swear; don't expect me to apologize for it."

PHILLIP'S POV
I set my backpack down in my chair, smiling radiantly. It was the third week of eighth grade (he's technically supposed to me in fifth grade but i wanna do eight so we'rE DOING EIGHTH)
If I'm being honest, I love school. Most of the kids my age don't love it, if anything they despise it. But not me. I love writing especially, ever since I was a small kid.
"Yo Phillip!" I flipped around, finding a familiar face smiling up at me. I rolled my eyes.
"Eacker, I told you, I am not giving you my nintendo switch." I groaned.
"Not even for a-"
"Not even for a week, dumbass." I laughed silently.
Let me tell you where I am in my life right now. I'm 14, and I live with my parents, Thomas and Alex. They're awesome, and considerably young despite my age. Which is cool, I guess. Living with young parents. Of course, there is the gay factor, and let me tell you, it is strong. My class is really cool with it, me being adopted and having two dads. And my sister Anna, erm-well she's not technically my sister, BuT that doesn't matter. I love her like one.
I walked out of the classroom as the bell rang, signaling the end of the day. My smile dropped as I thought of Anna.
"Oh Anna..." I mumbled to myself. Recently we've found that she has acquired Agno Phelebria too, and like it made my papa scared, it makes Anna mad. Blindingly mad, she doesn't know why she's mad, but she just gets so violent. This one time, she almost-
"Phillip, again man, what the fuck are you daydreaming about?" I heard a familiar voice snicker behind me. I groaned in fond annoyance. Eacker was probably my best friend, apart from John (anna's husband). John's pretty hard to beat, but Eacker manages a close second. I continue walking, no doubt Eacker is gonna come running next to me.
"I am not daydreaming, Eacker, I'm walking you shit." I laughed as Eacker doubled over in laughter. He thinks it's so funny when I swear, saying I sound like a pissed off baby. I had to hold him as he started to sway, holding his forehead as he cried in laughter. I smiled. His laugh was so cute.
What. What.
Nevermind.
After he sobered up, they both headed to the car pick up lane; Thomas was picking them up today.
"Hey Phillip?"
"What's up, Georgie?" Yeah, that was my nickname for him. Don't make anything of it.
"After we go to your place and drop off our things, what do you wanna do?" He asked, waving at his friends as we climbed the steep road where all the parents were picking up their kids. I shrugged.
"You know I don't like thinking of the future. Let's just stay in the present, hmm?" I hummed, sifting through the cars to find my dad's car. I looked back to find Eacker dodging kids and cars, and failing miserably. I sighed and grabbed his hand, yanking his closer to me.
"Keep up if you don't wanna get run over." I teased. He didn't get it though.
"Ah, I'm sorry." He laughed nervously. I looked back and threw him a small smile. A smile just for him. We continued on until I saw the familiar face smiling from behind the wheel. My face instantly lit up. Dad.
Dad rolled down the window and smiled, sticking his arm out the window.
"Hey kiddos, jump in." He said in his southern accent. I smiled wide and gripped Eacker's hand tightly, pulling him into the car. It was not until he pulled his hand away that I realized I had been holding it so tightly. I winced and wiped my hand on my thigh.
"Hah, sorry dude." I laughed.
"Nah, I don't care." Eacker laughed before turning his attention to the front.
"Thanks for having me, sir!" He chirped in my dad's direction. We both laughed loudly at his polite antics. I caught my dad's smiling eyes in the rear view mirror.
"Aw, George, You don't have to call me sir, ew. Let me tell you a little somethin' kid, we don't use the word sir in this family, so you can call me whatever the heck you want." He smiled, his breath catching a little. I sat a little straighter, knowing the double meaning behind his words. ( A/N DO ANY OF YOU KNOW WHAT THE DOUBLE MEANING IS?? HEHEH)
Eacker visibly relaxed and sad back against the seat. A wide grin stretched across his lips.
"In that case.." he started. My eyes widened.
"Georgie, don't you dare." I warned. He heeded no such warning.
"Can I call you T-dawg?" He laughed. I slapped my forehead, my loud laughing intertwining with my dad's. He had to hold his chest to catch his breath, he was laughing so hard.
"Of course, my boy, of course." He smiled. He looked back at me while they were at a red light. He smiled, squinting his eyes.
"Phillip, he's a keeper." He chuckled. And if he noticed us both turning red at the implication, he didn't say anything.
