Anna woke up suddenly, breathing raggedly. She tried to scream when she felt the cloth over her mouth. But she couldn't move, she was just so... tired.
She looked around to find herself situated in a shack of sorts, guns lined up along the side lines and bags and bags of...drugs? She felt her heart pick up. She wanted nothing to do with those things. She tried to move but she hit a box. She looked over and saw a crate that was labeled "APB". She sighed inwardly and relaxed against her constraints.
What was going on?

Philip woke up to sun shining on his face. He blinked blearily and shifted to his side, groaning when he felt the hard cement under him. Then everything hit him at once, and he couldn't breath, couldn't think.
They were on the run.
He frantically looked around for Eacker, sagging in relief when he found the smaller boy sleeping next to him. He looked around, and it seemed they were in a gas station. Behind a gas station, actually.
On the ground.
Cold.
And hungry.
Panicked laughter bubbled out of Philip's mouth. He had no idea where they were, where his parents were, where Anna was. He didn't know what to do. He felt a tear roll down his check. He grumbled beside himself, wiping the damn thing away.
"Where do these even fucking come from..."
"From your eyes, dumbass." Eacker stirred slowly, stretching his back and sitting up, leaning into Philip. Philip chucked softly and hugged Eacker, holding him close. Eacker's face was blank, free of the usual excitement and giddiness that usually resides there.
"We've been running for hours, and...and I don't know where we are..." and with a pause, he added,
"We have to find your parents, Philip. And you can't use your phone, that...that bad man could be tracking us." He said solemnly.
Philip nodded and stood up, pulling Eacker up as well. "You're right, we need to get moving. My parents... I hope they didn't have any trouble with him..." Philip's eyes suddenly went wide. He put his hands to his mouth, contemplating and stepping back from Eacker.
"If...if that guy followed us, h-he probably found my house, and...oh my god, he must have met with my parents, or, or maybe they know we are missing. Eacker, our parents could be on the run, too." Philip whispered, terror pulling at his body, pulling him down into the ground. Eacker swallowed. He look out into the distance. The sun was about to rise fully; they had to get moving.
"Ok, here's the plan. Find your parents, join up, and then..."
"Save Anna."

Alex woke up slowly, feeling stiff. He opened his eyes and found himself in his car. He sat straight, unbuckling his seatbelt. Thomas shifted, waking up as well. He looked down sleepily at Alex, before they both sagged with realization.
"Oh my god, how long did we drive? Where did we drive??" Alex worried, pulling out his phone. He had numerous calls from John. He showed Thomas. Thomas nodded and tended to the emails regarding Anna that bombarded his phone.
"John, what's wr-"
"They got her Alex!!! They, they g-got her!!" John sobbed uncontrollably. Alex felt his heart drop.
"W-what, J-John-"
Thomas looked over, his eyebrows pulled together in concern.
John continued to cry. He wasn't finished.
"I-I was able to c-call her once before they took her phone. T-they, she-" he took a deep, shuddering breath.
"They got her, and they found...they found Philip and Eacker. I heard Reynolds talking on the phone with his co-worker. They ran away, and Reynolds men are chasing them. I-I-I don't know why, what they want, but but..."
Thomas and Alex were always speeding down the road to find their boys.
"We are in danger, Alex. All of us."
Thomas and Alex junked our of the car, searching the house for any signs. Nothing.
"Reynolds kills people. He is not human."
They started to run to places where they would find the kids. They eventually made their way to the school. They found bullet shells lying around. They shared a look of sheer terror.
"I don't know what he will do. But one thing is for sure."
They followed a trail of clothes and discarded items. They made their way to a gas station. Thomas' heart dropped to his stomach. Philips phone laid there, broken in the grass. He picked it up gingerly in his hands. "My baby..." he whispered.
"This is war, Alexander. And we are at the frontline.
