Kim Minseok's P.O.V
"Or perhaps... you aren't of this realm?" As soon as the question passes my slightly chapped lips, the girls entire world seems to come to a screeching halt, right before her very eyes. It seems I've hit the nail on the head. I think to myself incredulously. The last time someone was from a place other than Miridia had been at least a hundred years ago.
"H-How did you know?" Her voice is shaking almost as much as her knees, her face pale, as if she'd just seen a ghost.
"You've not the slightest idea what's going on around you. I had to make the assumption that you'd been living under a rock your entire life, or that you weren't Miridian. I deducted the second option to be more of an accurate hypothesis, considering I feel not an ounce of magic coursing through your blood. This also leads me to believe you are a human being, from the planet Earth in the supercluster of galaxies called Laniakea?"
The girl gives me a blank stare until I clear my throat impatiently, causing her to nod her head dumbly. I hum thoughtfully, crossing my arms and cocking my hip. I momentarily forget about the young woman's existence, trying to come up with a logical reason about why a human would be in Miridia.
I turn my icy cold, blue-silver eyes on her. "What is your name? Where are you from?" I ask, giving her my full attention.
"U-Um... my name is Kim Hiyori. I live in South Korea, but most of my family is from Japan." She mumbles, causing me to give her an unimpressed look.
You expect me to know where those places are, you dunce? The words nearly roll straight off of my tongue, but I luckily manage to catch myself before they can. "And just what side of your family is from Japan?" I settle for asking this instead.
"My mother's side is all Japanese, with her mother and father both being Japanese. My father's father is South Korean, but his mother is Japanese." She says slowly, letting me soak up the information.
I nod my head slowly, beginning to pace. If my theory is correct, she may be a descendent of Kaito and hold a great role in our world. I'll have to talk to Junmyeon and Han about this. Until I have the chance to talk to them and either prove or disprove my theory though, I'll have to keep her around and make sure she doesn't leave.
"Well, Kim Hiyori, I have to request that you stay in Miridia for a while. I also ask that you don't leave my side for the rest of the night, as I have no doubt my father will get his men to take you to the dungeons if you're found alone." I speak calmly, intentionally walking slower than usual so that she can keep up with me.
I hear the pitter patter of her small heals on marble tiles as she follows behind me, silently thinking over my explanation. I can practically her the gears turning inside of her head from where I'm walking ahead of her.
We reach the ball room within a matter of minutes, walking straight in. We are greeted by a still rather large number of guests, all dancing or having seemingly pleasant conversations. The room seems to go cold as soon as I walk inside though, like most places. It was a bit of a curse to have control over frost and ice, because I was always cold and always had a chilling aura radiating off me. Oh well.
"Minseok?" My father demands as soon as his eyes land on me, turning to hone in on the trembling form behind me, not a second later. "What is the meaning of this? I thought you were getting rid of her."
He seems overjoyed to see our guest again. I think to myself sarcastically, reaching behind me to take a hold of her small hand. I plaster on my regular expressionless face as I pull the girl forward.
"Father. This is Kim Hiyori." I say calmly, looking him in the eye. "She seems to have been very sheltered when it comes to the ways of the world, and I think it may be a pleasant change to teach somebody about our ways." That was one of the worst lies I've come up with... ever. I grimace internally but keep a stoic face.
My father looks Hiyori up and down, as if he were deciding whether or not to just give her the chop now and get it over with. The room stays silent, the air heavy with tension as all eyes turn our way once again.
With a loud and weary sigh, my father looks away from Hiyori and back towards me. "Very well. But she will stay with you at Minseok, and you will have her under constant surveillance. Am I clear?" His voice is firm, daring someone to disobey him. I definitely wouldn't in this situation though. I'm not stupid.
With a sharp nod from me and one final scowl from him, he turns his back on us and turns back to the group of nobles he was talking to. It seems as if a spell had been lifted, everyone turning away from us and back to their own conversations.
"Let's go. I need to talk to my brothers." I sigh heavily, walking towards Han and Junmyeon whilst pulling Hiyori with me because I hadn't let go of her hand. She seems slightly ticked off as I literally drag her across the room, not once stopping to talk to the people who try to catch my eye and ear.
"Han, Junmyeon." I greet them bluntly, causing them to turn their attention to me. "I need your help with something. A theory of mine." My voice is calm and my gaze steady as I make eye contact with the both of them before turning my eyes on Hiyori's small form.

GUESS WHO FINALLY UPDATED!!
On a serious note though, thank you sooo much for reading my book! I thought I should tell you as well that the planets in which the princes rule over and live one, are named after them. So Xiumin's planet is called 'Minseok', Kris' planet is called 'Yifan', and so on and so forth.
Also, I actually did a tiny bit of research and found out that the Milky Way is actually apart of a supercluster of galaxies called Laniakea. I don't know if it's actually true or not, but this website said it was (you don't actually have to check it, I just felt like referencing it lol):
