Part 6: Undeniably

Phana's POV

"Beam is in critical condition right now" Kit delivered the news as I shifted my gaze towards him.

I'm speechless no words came out on my mouth, I got a lot of questions running thru my head right now and seriously I had enough of the problems today. Forth's sudden apperance, Yo's interjection and now Beam's current state.

I shake my head so hard as I recovered myself from the trance, I looked down at that bastard as my swollen fist still clump as a rock. I glance at Kit's direction and he gestured his hands to go.

I give him a quick nod as I grab Yo's hand and bolted ourselves to my car outside the restaurant.

I was not thinking straight, all I wanna do is to get ourselves to the hospital as fast as possible.

Thankfully I take the alternative route that will lead us directly to the destination without encountering traffic and road misfortunes.

The ride to the hospital was long and quiet. I'm still thunderstruck on what happened earlier. The truth is I was shock knowing Yo defend that bastard but thanks to Yo's interjection, he maybe a cold and bloody corpse now due to my hard beating. I wasn't able to control myself when he said his reasons of abondoning Beam. It's completely unforgivable, he broke his promise to me to never hurt my friend.

In a matter of minutes, we were their at the hospital parking lot but their is also a familiar motor vehicle park nearby. If I'm not mistaken it belongs to that bastard. I run towards the entrance and as I look back, Yo is running quickly trailing from my behind.

I saw that bastard at the hospital information and clearly he is inquiring regarding Beams condition. I need to be ahead of him and stop his tracks before he get's his filthy hands near Beam.

The nurse on duty gestured her hands towards the Emergency Room and I quickly bolted myself towards the course.

We arrive at the same time at the door and not long after I pushed that bastard so hard against the adjacent wall, he falls directly to the solid ground.

I looked at him with so much anger and disgrace, my fist forms into a hard solid rock ready to throw some punches but here comes Yo again taking that bastard side.

"You lost all your right to Beam when you left him without a reason." my voice is full of hatred and anger.

I squinted my eyes and glance at Yo and that bastard. I will handle this later but now Beams condition is far more important.

"Don't pretend to care anymore, if what happens to Beam is somehow connected to you, you better be good in hiding because I will haunt you down and make you pay for it." with full of determination I looked at that bastards eyes.

"Stay here Yo" I said in a cold hard tone as I entered the Emergency entrance door.

I quickly saw Beam lying in the bed in a despoil condition with Dr. Ruj and 2 nurses attending to his case.

I felt despair and sad as I slowly walk towards his unconscious body, I have seen many patient with much worst scenario but it feels so much depressing knowing that your friend is in the same condition.

I was just standing at the corner of the bed with my eyes blurring, I manage to control my emotion, I needed to be strong for Beam.

"What happen?" Kit suddenly appeared right by my side. I saw Kit as he touch Beams feet like he was about to break down.
