Chapter 1: When it all began

After Margaret told to run away I knew I had to do this. Margaret grabbed my hand and we started to run towards my room, Margaret was about to open the room but I told her to knock I was still afraid that Adam was still there, "malady no one is inside quick hurry inside" I go in and I see Margaret getting out my normal clothing, not formal or any of my gowns there just normal girl clothing she stuffs it in a big green bag and puts in on top of my desk, she then hands me clothing and pushes me towards the bathroom and tells me to change. "malady are you done yet?" Margaret say as she's waiting outside the door "um... yes" I was in shock I really never did dress like this before but I looked really good, I get outside and Margaret sees me " you look beautiful malady." she starts to tear up " thank you Margaret" " okay malady at midnight I will come and get you be ready and get some rest alright" Margaret leaves and closes my door, I walk towards my bed and sit down and start to think "will they miss me? will they ever know I'm gone? I'm doing myself a favor I never want to get married this young, and to a man I don't even love is even worse." (knock,knock) it must be Margaret she must have forgotten something. As I walk towards the door I open It and It wasn't instead It was Leo, " So... whatcha doing sis" I try closing the door as fast as I can but he stopped it. " please Destiny let me explain" "there is nothing for you to explain now so please go away!" I look into his eyes and they weren't happy like they usually are I open the door and let him in "fine explain" his expression was a bit happy. "I'm sorry father made this decision on his own I didn't want this to happen! I tried opposing to the idea but he was persistent on the idea of joining our kingdoms together, and he threatened to take away my dreams of being a lawyer, I'm such a selfish brother please forgive me I understand if you want to run away I won't stop you I would do the samething if I was in your position." I was surprised, I din't think he knew I was running away, "how.....how did you know" did Margaret tell him? "well I kinda knew, also because you have a big green bag there and you are wearing normal girl clothing so if I put 2 and 2 together then I get my little sis running away." I start to laugh and he laughs as well but then the laughter ended he kisses my cheek and hugs me. " be careful out there sis just know I will always love you" he leaves and I start to cry. I went to sleep for a while when I heard two knocks I look at the time and it was 12:00. I grabbed my bag and as I look at my room one last time I see my family photo I looked at it and took it with me. I open the door and Margaret was waiting " do you have everything malady?" "yes" Margaret grabs my hand "let's go before the guards find us" says Margaret.
