      I rub my eyes hardly believing what I am seeing. Miles was kissing another girl! After every thing we had been through together I couldn't believe he was cheating on me right in front of my face. He knew I was coming. How could he be so stupid!

I decided to compose myself and go and face him. I wiped the tears I had been crying away and walked out of the cafe to where they were making out. As I had hoped they were still glued together. I silently fummed and rolled my eyes. I went behind Miles and tapped on his shoulder.

"Hi Miles!" I said forcing some fake cheer  into my voice.

He did a double take and pulled away really fast. " Jaxon, what..."

"What am I  doing here, I told you that I was coming to the cafe. We meet up every Thursday night at 7. I would really like to know what your doing here and especially with another girl!" I said with a bit of edge in my voice. 

"Jaxon, I can explain," Miles said

I cut him off an said," And what would that explanation be that, you are cheating on me in front of our favorite cafe, If that is what you want to explain then I don't want to hear it."

"Jaxon, wait,"

But I was already was walking away, I felt the tears fall as I walked to my friends house , and told them every thing. They held me as I cried and later they drove me home.

I decided cause why not to grab the mail before I got into the house. I saw a light yellow envelope and grabbed it. I saw that it was the selection envelope. I smiled slightly through my tears and ran inside, to get out of the rain.

 "Honey we are in the kitchen." My mom called. I smiled and went into the kitchen. Dad was sitting at the table with some paper work.

"Hi Mom, hey Dad" I said. I sat down at my place at the dinner table and opened the selection form and my parents gasped. They didn't think I was going to enter.

" Oh honey, we are so sorry."My mom said with an understanding face.

"About what mom?"I said confused and because I didn't think that she would know this soon.

" Sophie and Josie called us and let us know the news." "So, Hun are you going to enter?"

"Well, I was thinking about it,I thought it would be nice and I don't know if I will get picked, worth a try."

"OK sweetheart we will leave you too it, I've got my lesson to prepare anyway." My dad says speaking for the first time.

My mom looked at me once more and reluctantly left the room.

I thought to myself about signing up what would be the chance of getting picked. If I did get picked Miles would be sorry he every let me go.
