"Why do you like Lisa anyway?" Taehyung asked Jin as they mopped the hallways.
"Why not? She's beautiful and strong. She can be kind and scary too."
"That's it? There's so much more to her," Taehyung responded. "She's strong and scary, but she can definitely be weak. She acts the way she does because of her family. Not all vampires are bad beings. Some of them were just raised to act badly. She's kind to all creatures. She's just a little sadistic with Jungkook because he's a bunny, and she has an obsession with bunnies."
Jin was quiet at first. "How long have you known her?"
"Childhood. It sounds like some sappy romance drama. A boy off to win the love of his life, only to be stopped by another boy in love with the same girl."
"If we were best friends, it would have been worse," Jin replied.
"Being friends with you is torture enough," Taehyung retorted with an eye roll.
"Who said we were friends? I fucking hate you," Jin said.
Taehyung sighed. "I fucking hate you too, Fido. But to make my princess happy, I'm going to at least try to be acquaintances with you."
Jin chuckled to himself. "She's not your princess. Don't get me wrong, she's not mine either, but she's the whole school's princess. You can't claim her as your princess until you mate with her. You know that a lot a people want to date her, right? I was just brave enough to show my true intentions."
"You're brave and stupid," Taehyung responded as he dipped the mop back into the bucket filled with water. "I can handle those that watch Lisa from afar, but don't actually have contact with her. You? You piss me off."
"Lisa was right. Jealousy is a good color on you."
