"She's straight up jealous, Taehyung."

It was one of the few times Jin ever used his real name instead of calling him 'leech.'

Taehyung had never really seen Lisa jealous. He knew when he was jealous, but he couldn't tell with her.

After somehow losing Rebecca in the huge academy, Taehyung walked around the school to find Lisa. He thought she would be in her room, but when he barged in there, she wasn't in there.

It was odd to him. She was always in her room and never left it until it was time to go to class. Taehyung even went into Jungkook's class to see if she was there, but she wasn't.

He asked Jungkook if he knew where Lisa was, but Jungkook shook his head 'no' and said Lisa left shortly after he finished eating his lunch.

"So you're jealous?"

"Yes, of course. I mean, another girl clinging onto my mate? I would snap her in half if I could, but then I'd be in trouble with the council," Lisa answered.

Marilyn swished her tail to create gentle tides in the water. "You should just tell him off."

"That's not fair though. This is the first time I've been jealous and I don't it to seem like it's because we mated."

"But it is because of that, right? It should be even better that you're getting jealous because you mated. It means that you two have bonded with each other," Marilyn replied.

"Yeah, but I don't really want to talk to him," Lisa answered. "I don't like feeling this way, Marilyn. I liked it better when I was cold and distant."

Marilyn let out a shrill laugh that sounded like her siren song. "That's not how you should act when you're in a relationship."

"It's how vampires act, Marilyn. We're cold and mean creatures. Most people don't like us. It's not really a stereotype if it's true," Lisa nonchalantly replied. Lisa suddenly started getting goosebumps. "That's weird. Is Taehyung near?" She sniffed the air around her as Marilyn tried to do the same, but only smelled the freshwater.

"Lisa—" Taehyung called from on top of the academy.

"What the fuck is he doing up there?"

"I was looking for you and I couldn't find you inside!" he shouted, his hands cupped around his mouth.

"He looks like he's about to jump off," Marilyn said, slowly dipping half of her head under the water.

"Excuse me while I go deal with him," Lisa said, flashing to school's roof.

The two could be seen arguing from afar. Taehyung was trying to grab Lisa and hug her, but she refused to and tried to walk away from him. He wouldn't let her and grabbed her hand. His weight and body felt like an anchor to her.

"You should lose weight," she told him.

The two were truly an odd couple. Most mates would be clingy and never let each other go for the first 24 hours. Yet, Taehyung spent his day with another girl instead and left Lisa on her own.

"Stop being jealous," he called out.

Lisa sighed. "If I could, I would. Is this what jealousy feels like?" she questioned.

"Yes, but it's worse if it's me. Lisa, you can just be honest with me now as I am with you. I love you and I'm never going to leave you for another woman, let alone a human," he ended in a scoff.

Lisa suddenly grinned at the three words he said. She had a brilliant idea. "If you can find more Easter eggs than me, then I'll truly accept you as my mate."

Taehyung normally would have groaned, but he smiled happily, the nostalgia filling his heart up. "You're going to lose so hard."
