Matt looked at you expectingly as you wrapped a present
"Yes?"
You huffed
"Who's is that?"
"Kuma's"
"Liar"
You grinned
"Hush"
Tomorrow was Christmas the kids were already sleeping you and Matt were currently in the den while you wrapped a last minute present
The fire was going and he had a cup of coco in his hand as he sat back watching you amusingly wrap this gift
"No seriously I don't remember getting another gift"
You sipped at your own coco
"I'm not saying"
He raised an eyebrow
"Okayyy"
Sticking out your tongue you got up from your seat on the floor and placed the gift under the tree before sitting with your husband he put an arm around you as you wrapped the blanket around the two of you
He kissed your head and whispered sweet nothings to you
"It's like only yesterday it was New Years in New York huh?"
You grinned
"Yes I was childless"
He chuckled
"Indeed"
Resting your head on his shoulder he sighed dreamily
You remember dozing off as you and Matt sat there together
The next morning you woke up on your plush bed with him holding you
There was a thud like every other morning
That usually meant one of the kids dragged the other out of their beds
From the sound of it you think James was the one who hit the floor
Matt stirred and you groaned
"Guess it's time"
He grumbled getting up from his comfortable spot and pulled on a pair of jogging pants
You stretched and sat up swinging your legs over the bed
Matt trudged out the room you heard him go into one of the kids room and grumble something to them

And he left coming back into the room
"Melanie pulled James off the bed"
He mumbled

James stretched and cracked his knuckles
Melanie was chattering to her father who you doubt was listening
"Ok everyone calm down"
You joked earning a blank look from both your husband and son Melanie just blushed
Matt took a seat on the couch while You handed out presents
"Awesome!"
Melanie chirped and she tore into hers
James took his time
"Why so slow?"
You asked
He grinned
"Trying to find my video game I asked for"
Rolling your eyes you picked up the present you wrapped last night and plopped down next to your husband.
"This is for you Matt"
He raised an eyebrow
"Oh?...you didn't need to maple"
Shrugging you gave it to him
"It wasn't planned~"
He furrowed his eyebrows and frowned slightly
"I don't like the sound of that"
He opened it
The kids had their attentions yanked from their gifts to see what he got
Matt finally opened it
"....wait what"
He mumbled
Grinning you grabbed the small stick in the box
Melanie squealed
James groaned
"IM NOT SHARING A ROOM"
Matt looked at you shocked
"(Y-y/n)?"
"Apparently I've been a month pregnant!"
"But I thought-"
"So did I"
He grinned and hugged you
James made a joke and Melanie giggled
Holding matt you whispered
"Ready for round two?"
He chuckled and then sniffed moving to whisper in your ear
"Thank you~"
He kissed you and you returned it feeling so much love
Pulling away you whispered
"Merry Christmas Matt"
