Song for this chapter: That Green Gentlemen
A one shot in which the Losers' club have gone their separate ways, they barely communicate. Eddie had moved somewhere else, his mother dragging him along. They're all 16/15. Eddie works at a coffeeshop/bakery, he just moved back to Derry and Richie doesn't know.
I never said I'd leave this city, never said I'd leave this town.
~Richie's POV ~
Richie woke up early as usually, headed to a bakery town the block. Now that he was 16 he was able to drive,(Idk if you have to be 18 where you live but my cousin started driving when she was 16 sO) so he could basically go anywhere he pleased. He changed into his normal, tacky attire, a Hawaiian shirt and shorts.
~ Time Skip BC I have no ideas ~
Richie hopped out of his car, immediately noticing change. Instead of the building being a boring beige, it was now changed to a lavender purple with a dark grey paneled roof, the glass doors tinted pastel pink. Wonder if someone new is the manager. Richie thought. Richie stepped inside, new white tiles lined the floor while the walls were the same lavender color, and the booths took a color of pastel pink, blue, green, yellow, and orange. The place also had faint music of "That Green Gentlemen."
"Wow. They've really fixed the place up."
"Didn't you hear? The new manager did it. He really is great." A barista stated.
"He? As in-a guy did this?"
"Mhm. He's about your age. He'll be helping you in a sec."
"Mhm."
The new manager walked out of the doors leading to the Employees Only room, only to be wearing pastel attire similar to the shop. He was indeed Richie's age, looking to be 15. He had brown eyes and hair, and was short, compared to Richie.
"How can I help you?"
"Do I know you?"
He was confused, looking up at Richie.
"Eds? Is that you?"
"Richie?"
"I should've know when I saw the place." Richie smiled.
"Your still here? It's been like, two years!"
"Still am. C'mon, I'll show you what's changed."
"As much as I'd like that, I'm still on shift."
"You can go. I'll keep shop." The barista said.
"Really?"
"Really."
And with that, Richie and Eddie were off.
~ Time Skip, They can be in the park now ~
"Wow. Things have changed."
"Yep. You leave for two years and bam."
"Hey. I'm still really sorry about it. You know that—"
"That you would've stayed if it weren't for your mom. I know."
"Still. I feel bad about it. Just going up and leaving you all right after everything happened. I need to make it up."
"I have an idea."
"What's that, Richie?"
"This."
Richie leaned down to Eddie's height, pressing his lips against Eddie's. Eddie was shocked. His heart skipped a beat, but a few seconds after he melted into it. After about 13 seconds, they both pulled away, blushing.
"So, how long will you be staying?"
I feel like that ending was half assed but I'm new at the whole shipping thing sO
Anyways I'll do a new chapter tomorrow, I thinks I may do something Harry Potter related :> ~ ThatBiGemini
