~Cory's POV~

"And he's just next door." Nick finished. Wow.
"Self fulfilling prophecy much Ash?"
"Damn... You right!" She looked strangely proud of herself, considering that it now means that Tommy is here.
"Yo, Nick. Did Ross say anything about why he's here?"
"I heard him call Tommy a little devil because he burned down his house? I think?" Uni looked up from his drawing, and said,
"Damn!" Ashlie then turned around to me.
"Yo, Cory. How the fuck are you staying so calm?"
"I-" I stopped to think about it. "I don't know how." I finished with a sigh. Know that stop to think about it, I think I've become slightly emotionally numb... I can't let the others know. "I guess it's just the stress of everyone arriving all in one week." It feels awful to lie to my friend's faces. Especially Nick. I just told him some important shit that might stick with him for a while now. I... I need to get my act together. Just actually think for TWO BLOODY SECONDS CORY! All of a sudden the door bursts open followed by a shape about my size, possibly slightly smaller, flew in with force. When it landed I could hear it was Tommy from the crying. I went to step over to comfort him but I heard Ashlie scream loudly and by time turned around, I could tell why. Ross had come in and trapped us both by the backs of our shirts, and threw us out the room. He the locked the door and turned around to us again. Ashlie seemed have nocked out on impact.
"Time to keep your end of the bargain CCF." He said to me. Shit... I forgot about that. While I was remembering what I'd agreed to, I was picked up again, but not all the way. My feet were still on the floor and he was basically just dragging me and Ashlie. He took us to the courtyard in which he had usually trained me. He shoved Ashlie back on the floor as she seemed to stir, and turned to me.
"You'd better hope she does as I ask." His voice had a dark under tone to it, so I rushed over to Ashlie to help her up.
"W-what's going on Cor?" She stuttered nervously, having never seen this place before.
"This is the place where doctor Ross does his tests." Her eyes instantly widened as she looked past my shoulder to have her eyes meet with Ross'. She shuddered.
"Why should I?" She asked, not meaning to be rude.
"I don't know, but I think it's gonna be something to do with him threatening me or someone else." I responded with the truth. She instantly grew worried, seemingly at the thought of me getting hurt for some reason. To be fair, my friends always cared for me better then my parents ever did...
"D-don't worry Ash. It'll be... Decent in the end... I hope..." I didn't want to lie by saying everything was going to turn out fine, because we both knew it wouldn't be.

~Time skip past two hours of basic examinations~

Ashlie gave one final glare at Ross as I dragged her back to our room. It would've been fine if they both had said nothing, but Ross decided to open his trap and say, as we left,
"Moron." As you might imagine, when we got to our room she exploded.
"WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS TO CALL ME A MORON AFTER ONLY KNOWING ME FOR WEEK, IF THAT!?" I heard a small chuckle from Tommy. "WHY THE FUCK YOU GIGGLING YOU PHYCO?" Ashlie yelled back, not expecting a serious answer back.
"He's known everyone since we moved into the neighborhood 5 years ago." Ashlie was ready to get mad, but instantly dropped it with Tom's response.
"How?" Uni asked calmly before the situation exploded again.
"He's my uncle."
"Wait, that really creepy one who only came round to see us and not you? Actually, that makes a bit more sense." I chipped in, curious of this fact which I had conveniently forgotten.
"Yep. He's from my dad's side of the family, unsurprisingly enough. The males in our family tend to be a bit... Unhinged, if you will." I was instantly sceptical.
"Wouldn't that include you?" Ash butted in before I could.
"Yep! And I seem to be the only one admits it!"
"Fucking phyco." She said under her breath as she climbed up to her bed. But, before we know Tommy had dragged her down and pinned her against the wall
"Call me a phyco one more time bitch. I already know, and don't need some arrogant know-it-all to tell me more." Ashlie started sweating and nodded, crying. Tommy released her from the wall, then shook his head as if he were waking up from a daydream. "I... I... I'm..." He looked from Nick, to Uni, to me and back to Ashlie. He saw the fear in their eyes and could see from my mouth's expression that I was shocked. He ran to the door, and tried to leave, but was stopped by someone grabbing a hold of one of his legs. He looked down shocked that someone had tried to stop him from leaving. He saw it was Nick and chuckled quietly. He knelt down and hugged Nick back. Their relationship had always been rather strange. At times, it seemed like they hated each other's guts, and at others it seemed like they could've been siblings. It was somewhat cute. Like an old married couple. Though, (No matter how much Ashlie shipped it) it would never happen. We wouldn't want to ruin our friendships with relationships. Simple as. They finally stopped hugging, and life continued as normal. Or... As normal as it could be in this place.
