Izzy stumbled through the woods, wondering when she would find the other side. As she neared a clearing, she could see six figures. Five were significantly taller then the other one, and only one was female. She hid behind a bush as the tallest one lit a match and ran. As soon as they were all out of sight, she ran and quickly poured water on her jumper, and put that over the still small flame. She then hung it up to dry.
"Guess I'm not wearing that one again." She walked inside. She found four or five rooms that had only two things in common; A test tube and a panel. Other then that they all had random objects scattered around them, defining them from the others. Izzy assumed they were labs of some kind. She carried on wandering past them and in the room next to the furthest lab was a bedroom with three bunk beds. She walked further in to see that the beds were all unmade, as if they had recently been used.
"The fuck? I thought this was that old abandoned asylum..." She left the room and went down the stairs to her right. There, she saw a door left wide open. She stepped out into the somewhat bitter air and glanced around the courtyard. It was a beautiful thing considering the place in which it belongs to. Ivy, now long unattended, climbed the walls. Bushes of various flowers also dotted the place, the most noticeable of which was an extremely over grown rose bush. They're such intriguing flowers. You could represent the whole human race with this one small plant. It can be beautiful when it wants to be, but hides something dark very close to the surface. After taking in the beauty of this place, Izzy glanced down to see a man on the floor, knocked out.
"Did those people just come here, knock this guy out, and then tried to commit arson?" She dragged the man inside, him being seemingly in his mid-forty's and herself being twelve. She placed him just inside by the door, shut it, and ran to grab a pillow and one of the thicker blankets. While she waited, she sat wondering what she wanted to next. 'Should I ask to stay with guy? What if he turns me in! What if he doesn't turn you in, but instead straight up denies your stay? But, he does seem almost familiar... I wonder...' He started to stir.
"S-sir! Oh thank god your awake. I had no clue what those people had done to you!"
"Wh-" He interrupted himself by grabbing his head, assumably in pain. "Who are you?"
"O-oh! I'm so sorry! M-my name is Isabel, sir. I was running away from... Some people, and I encountered this structure. Extremely sorry for asking, but do you have any clue who those people were? They tried to set fire to this place, but I put it out before it got bad."
"What did they look like?"
"There were six of them, one shorter then the rest. The next shortest one was a female who had red hair and blue skin. The other four were males, three of whom were about the same height. The one that was noticeably the tallest had green hair and was the one to actually tried to start the fire. The other only had small notable differences. One had blue hair, dog ears and a dog tail. The other two were blond, one wearing a emoji mask and trench coat, while the last one had a camera for half his face and wore monotone colors."
"So. He really did try to kill me. I thought he would." He had an almost happy look on his face.
"U-um, excuse me sir? Did you know those people?"
"Oh, yes. I forgot I was talking to someone who actually wants to help. Thank you for that description, and for saving me."
