Hot Ice

Chapter 3: Ice

*Monday morning*

I woke up around 9:00 a.m.-ish. I got ready and I wore a gray California t-shirt paired with some light pink flowy shorts with the same light brown flip flops. I decided to let my hair down and put some sunglasses on. We were already on our second island which is Antigua. Then we went to the breakfast buffet to eat. Then I saw Dani and she joined us to eat. After we ate we got off the ship to explore Antigua. We walked for a while until our parents called a tour bus. We got on and did the same stuff. The tour guide showed us ancient stuff about the island, an old bridge and other stuff as well. The tour was finally over and we got back to the cruise. Antigua wasn't my favorite island but, it still was pretty cool.

*5:00 p.m.*

The ship was leaving and we were going to go to dinner. I put on a fancy shirt with jeans and white converse. When we got to the restaurant I sat at Dani's table. I ordered my food and we ate. After we ate, our parents wanted to go to see the ice skating show. "Yeah, that sounds like fun!" Danielle and I said. Then we went to the ice skating rink and Dani had to go sit somewhere else. I sat next to my grandma. While we were waiting, on the tv screens there was information about the skaters and there was a woman from Italy and a young man with a weird last name. "Petrov?" I thought to myself. "From Russia?!" I thought to myself surprised. That's pretty far away from here. I said. And there were also other skaters from all around the world. Suddenly the lights were fading and the show was about to start. The show was about this boy that falls for a girl, but the girl is with someone else. But at the end of the show the girl falls for the boy. All of the ice skaters ice skated amazingly! When I saw the boy that played as the boy that falls for the girl I thought that he was pretty cute. "He is pretty cute." My grandma says out loud. I start laughing. "Yes he is." I tell her, and she laughs as well. When I stared at him while he was skating we made eye contact and he winked at me while smiling. I was in shock and I giggled. When the show ended all of the skaters were in a line waving. And the host was presenting each character of the show by saying their name and where were they from. When they were about to say the boy's name I listened very carefully. "Noah Petrov from Russia everybody." The host says while everyone's applauding. "Noah Petrov?, Petrov? Where have I heard that before?" I asked myself. "OHHH!! I know! He's the one from the screen with the weird last name at the beginning of the show." I say to myself remembering. I was watching him bow and as he slowly was lifting his head and standing back up he watched me and we made eye contact again. He smiled and I smile and giggle and then we both looked away. Then the ice skaters left and we had to leave. I thought that I would never see him again. Then I frowned and left.
