Chapter 4: I "FELL" In Love

*6:45 p.m.*

After we left the ice skating rink, we found Dani and her family. "Dani!" I yelled. "What?" She replied. "Well, you know the boy who fell for the girl in the show?" I say. "Uhuh?" She replied. "Well, I think that he is pretty cute; and he also winked at me and smiled at me and we even made eye contact!" I told her. "I knew you would say that." She says rolling her eyes. "But, doesn't he work here as a skater?" She asks. "Yeah, but he looks like one of the younger skaters." I say. She rolls her eyes and then laughs. Then we went to check what family activities there were. There was ice skating at 7:20 p.m. We checked the time and it was 6:55 p.m. so we went running to our rooms to get changed into some warm clothes. I wore the blue tie-dye hoodie that I bought in St. Kitts and paired it with black leggings and black tennis shoes. While the others got ready, I was doing my hair into two dutch braids. Then we checked the time and it was 7:10 p.m. So we went running to the ice skating rink. My grandma took us (Danielle, Emma, Jack and I). When we got to the ice skating place we checked in and then we had to go to the table where they give out the ice skates. "LILY!, that's the guy from the show! He is giving out ice skates!" Dani told me almost screaming. When I look at the table, I saw him. I widened my eyes and I felt like my heart stopped. I ran to the bathroom grabbing Dani. "You're blushing." Dani told me smiling. I laugh and smile. "You are soo ready for this; just, go talk to him." Dani said. "I'll try." I say smiling. When we entered back into the ice skating room, we went directly to the table. Dani was in front of me. They gave her the skates and she left to tie them on. Then it was my turn. "Hi." I say very nervously. "Hey!" He says. "Soo, what's your shoe size?" He asked. "Umm... 8.5 I think?" I reply. "What did you say?" He asks. "8.5." I reply. "Oh sorry, there are no skates with .5." He tells me. "Oh, that's ok, well... 8 sounds good." I reply and smile. He looked for my skates. After he found them he gave them to me smiling. "Here you go!" He tells me smiling. "Thanks!" I say and smile back. I sat down and realize that the skates are the ones with the complicated laces. So I went back to the table and I asked the boy if he could tie my laces. "Sure!, just sit down." He tells me. "Ok." I say. I sat down and waited for a bit. Then he came and kneeled at my feet. He held out the skate and I slipped my foot inside. I felt like Cinderella. Then he started tying my laces and I thought to myself: "Come on!, this might be your only chance!" I take a deep breath and started talking to him.

Lily: Um... you're a skater right?

XX: Yeah! Did you see the show?

Lily: Yes, by the way you did amazing! (I say smiling and impressed.)

XX: Thanks! (He laughed.) Um... whi-which show did you watch?

Lily: Oh, the one at 5:00 p.m. today.

XX: Oh, cool.

Lily: Soo, what's your name? (I ask because I forgot his weird last name.)

XX: Oh, my name is Noah Petrov. (He says smiling.) What's yours?

Lily: Um, I'm Lily, Lily Turner. (I say smiling.) Your from Russia right?

Noah: Yup.

Lily: That's pretty far away from here.

Noah: Yes, yes it is.

(Then we both laugh)

Danielle's P.O.V.

I hear people laughing and I recognize Lily's laugh. When I saw Lily and the boy from the show laughing together I got surprised. They were pretty cute together if I do say so myself.

Noah's P.O.V.

When I saw Lily coming to the table to get her skates I remembered her from the show and got a little nervous. I wanted to really talk to her, but I had to act professional for me to stay here. When she asked me to tie her skates I thought that, that was gonna be my only chance. I don't know why but, I felt something for her.

Lily's P.O.V.

After he finished tying my skates he stood up and extended his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. I tripped on something and almost fell but he catches me. Then I look up to his face and stare into his sparkling, blue eyes and his brown, flawless hair and smiled.

Noah's P.O.V.

When I pulled her up, I saw that she was about to fall so I rapidly catch her. Then I stare into her beautiful, green eyes and light brown, wavy/curly hair with gorgeous, natural golden highlights. We stare at each other for a while and smile. I got lost in her eyes and before I knew it, she was gone and she went to skate. So I got back to work, but I was still looking at her.

Lily's P.O.V.

We were so close but I left quickly because there was a line of people waiting to get their skates and he had to go back to his job. I felt bad leaving him there; I had to leave, it would've been awkward if the people kept staring at us, and also he has a job to do. But, I felt something, a connection leaving as I left him. I went to grab my helmet (we had to use a helmet to skate.) But all the sizes that were left were large, but I grabbed it even though it was too big for me. I started to skate, I wasn't a professional but I still knew how to skate without holding on to the wall or bars. I meet up with Dani and she was holding on to the bars. I went where she was and help her loosen up a bit. I was holding her hand, and we were slowly skating. I was looking down to her feet to help her stabilize herself.

Danielle's P.O.V.

As Lily was helping me ice skate, we were both looking down at our feet. Lily was still looking down at my feet but I looked up and see Noah looking at Lily and smiling in a very cute way. I smirked and then told Lily and she got red.

Lily's P.O.V.

When Danielle told me what happened I blushed, smiled and got distracted. Then I notice that I was still with Dani. We skated until she got the hang of it and I let her go. I was skating by myself. When I had to make a turn I suddenly was loosing my balance and then my large helmet fell forward making me not see anything and I fell and hit myself pretty hard. I still couldn't see anything. Suddenly, I feel somebody lifting my helmet. When I opened my eyes I saw Noah with a worried face. "Are you ok?!" He asks me while extending his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. When I was about to say yes I realized that I scratched my knee and elbow but it wasn't that bad. "No, you aren't." He says. Then he carries me bridal style to a chair outside the rink. I felt safe in his arms. He then puts me down and asked me what happened. I told him that I lost my balance and fell and scratched my knee and elbow. He left to grab a band-aid. Then he puts them on my scratches. "You know it's harder than it looks." I say. "What is?" He asks me. "ICE SKATING!" I say almost screaming. He laughs. "How do you make it look so easy?" I ask him. "Easy, practice." He tells me. "Oh, too bad there aren't many ice skating rinks in Hawaii." I say hopeless. "Well... if you want, maybe I can teach you." He says. "Really?!, when?" I reply. "How about today at 12:15 a.m.?" He says. "Ok, but isn't that pretty late?" I ask. "Yeah, but it'll be closed so it'll be easier to teach you when nobody is around interrupting us." He says. "Ok." I say suspiciously, but still, I was pretty excited. "See you later!" I say. "Yeah, see ya later!" He replies. We both stare at each other and smile. Then I left with my grandma, Danielle and our brothers to our rooms.
