one of earth's angels, jonghyun of shinee, committed suicide today. he was found unconscious in his apartment and passed away.

jonghyun was going through some mental issues and became depressed. shinee was one of the first groups that got me into kpop, and i fell in love with jonghyun instantly. he was happy, cheerful, kind, and one hell of an artist. he always worked his hardest on stage. behind his constant smiles though, was a depressed shadow lurking inside of him. he couldn't control it, no one could.
this tragic event has made me extremely sad all throughout today. i send my blessing to jonghyun and all of shinee. multiple artists from different companies have cancelled their schedules to pay respects.
jonghyun was a living legend. he went solo and has a wonderful voice. that voice is gone, but his legacy isn't.
