"And every time you leave me, the quicker these tears dry
And every time you walk out, the less that i love you
Baby, we don't stand a chance-"

Sam Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes" blared through the alarm clock. "Ali! Ali! Wake up!", my little sister, Ariana (Ari for short), comes barging through my bedroom door. I pull the blankets up over my head. "Ali, come on! You have to see this!". She's always over excited in the mornings, she has way to much energy for a 13 year old. "What is it?" I then feel tugging on my legs. "Ari, stop! I'm coming, just chill." I unhappily crawled out of bed and threw on a pair of shorts. I could hear my sister squealing from across the house. I made my way into the kitchen to see Ari watching Tom Holland's live. "So what exactly is so important?" I went straight for the coffee Dad leaves in the morning. My parents are both workaholics, my mom travels nonstop, and my dads the Chief of Surgery at Hampton's Heritage. "Tom's doing a meet and greet in NYC! It's this weekend, and he's leaving Monday. Can we go? Pretty please?" My sisters always been obsessed with Spider-man. Like stalker level obsessed, I guarantee you she can answer any question about Tom Holland on the spot. "I'd have to ask Dad but my answers yes." Ari let out this ear piercing scream and ran off. I guess it would be helpful to introduce myself. My names Alison, Ali for short, I'm 19 years old, long, dark brown hair, brown eyes. I'm starting college next year, I've always been a straight A student, I want to be a writer. My favorite actors are Patrick Dempsey, Robert Downey Jr. ,Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Jensen Ackles, and Jennifer Aniston. Of course there's more but it'd take a while to list all of them. I like Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Bryson Tiller, and Selena Gomez. So i guess that's the basics, you'll learn more once you get to know me. Don't get me wrong, I like Spider-Man but Iron Man and Deadpool have always had my heart. Since my parents aren't here, Ari's my responsibility, which means I have to take her to school in the mornings and pick her up on the days my dad can't. It's not like i have it that bad, we have money and a family, we're just not always a happy family. I scrolled through Instagram and ate breakfast while waiting for Ari to get ready. I heard her grab the keys and her shoes out of the hall closet. "Ready to go, kid?" She hates when i call her that but she's my sister, i'm entitled to annoy her. She rolled her eyes and nodded her head. I opened the front door for her and made my way to my moms SUV. After I dropped her off, I drove to Tropical Smoothie and grabbed two for me and my best friend, Cara, who'll you'll meet shortly. We live in the Hampton's which is one of the prettiest places I've ever been. It's definitely one of the more scenic parts in New York, in my opinion at least. Once i got to Cara's house, which is pretty much just across the street from mine, I grabbed the smoothies and knocked on her door. "Omg, I love you so much." She took her smoothie out of my hand and walked back into the house. "Thanks for inviting me in and hello to you too, Cara." I smirked and gave her a hug. "Ugh sorry, my moms mad at me again. She's complaining I never help her out around the house, which is true but still." I laughed and sat down at the island. "Least you have a mom to make mad." She glared at me, and chuckled. She was in the process of the cleaning their kitchen. "Omg guess who's coming to NYC for a meet and greet this weekend? Tom Holland omg!" I mocked Ari and her love for him. " It's actually just Saturday. He's going to be in Jersey City on Sunday. And my mom won't pay for me to go." She signed in annoyance. Did I mention Cara shares the same love for Tom? "Well since I don't want to suffer alone, I'll ask dad if you can go. Hopefully he'll be home tonight so i can actually ask." She instantly squealed and have me a life threatening hug. We spent the rest of the day cleaning up the house, her casa is mi casa, and vice versa. My dad came home around 5:30 with Ari. "Hey Ali, how's my girl?" He gave me a bear hug and a kiss on the forehead. "She's good. I assume Ari already asked about the meet and greet?" My dad scoffed and shook his head, "She wouldn't shut up about it. But it's fine with me. I'll pay for Cara if she wants to too." We've been friends since like 3rd grade, so we're basically each other's family. "Hmm how'd you know? Thanks though. I already ordered pizza." My dad let out a long happy sigh. "That sounds absolutely delicious. I am however going to take a shower. Love you sweetie." He kissed me my forehead again and patted Ari on the head. "Love you too." I sat down on the couch and turned the television on. "Spiderman" automatically popped up. I turned to my sister, "How do you not get sick of watching Homecoming all the time? Like I swear, your only concern is Tom Holland!" I rolled my eyes sarcastically and glanced in her direction. "Because i know how to appreciate true beauty when i see it. Least I don't spend my days pining over a guy who's 32 years older than I am, married, and way outta my league!" She sticks her tongue out at me and makes her way up the stairs. "Hey! Patrick Dempsey is a legend! And at least I'm legal!" I scream after her and hear her bedroom door shut. I laughed to myself. I'm not gonna lie, I really do like the relationship me and my sister have. For a 13 year old, she's pretty amazing and doesn't have that much of a bad attitude, it's mostly playful... mostly. Once my dad got out of the shower and the pizza got here, we all went and sat down in the living room. He's always preferred eating on the couch rather than the table, just don't tell my mom that we don't eat at the table when she's not here. She'd kill us, and I really do mean kill us. My dad put on Deadpool, fully against my sisters protest for Spiderman. He told us mom would be back next week for her birthday, and she was only going to be able to stay for a couple of days. Perks of having a Real Estate Agent as a mom, always on the go. Besides a few small talks and my sisters pouting about not being able to watch Spiderman, dinner was quiet and peaceful. I went straight to bed after, knowing i was going to have to deal with squealing teenagers at Tom's meet and greet tomorrow. I sent mom a quick goodnight text and turned my phone off.
