Just know that if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here. Please, don't slice that beautiful skin of yours and please, don't think of taking your own life. If you feel alone, come to me, because I've been through pain myself. I made it through. I'm a little bruised, but I made it, and you can to.

~Your P.O.V~

I looked in the mirror. The girl staring back at me wasn't the same girl she was when she was a child. Before, she had a certain light in her eyes. She held her head up. She always had a big smile of her face. But, as I stared into the dirty broken mirror, I realized that girl was gone.

The girl I found myself looking at now had dark shades of purple under her dull eyes from lack of sleep. She had cuts and bruises scattered all over her body. She was pale and thin. Her dark hair was a tangled mess all over her head.

'Disgusting' I thought to myself looking away from the mirror.

I looked dead.

I felt dead.

My eyes drifted upward. Up on the dusty shelf above me was a bottle of pills.

'I could end this' I thought to myself.

'I could end this pain. No more abusive parents. No more loads make-up to hide all the cuts and bruises. Just darkness. Sweet, peaceful darkness.'

I slowly reached my hand up towards to bottle. I was Just about to wrap my fingers around it when my phone, which was next to the sink, vibrated with a text message. I sighed and picked it up to check who it was. It was my best friend, Hayes.

'(Y/N), pls answer my txts! U haven't answered any of my calls and u haven't been at school all week! I'm worried! Pls txt me backk!!'

I ignored the message once again and set my phone down. Hayes was the closest person to me. The last thing I want to do was burden him with my dumb problems. In the corner of my eye I could still she the bottle of pills. Was this really what I wanted to do?

I thought for a moment.

My brain went through a tornado of thoughts before I finally made my decision. I swiftly grabbed the bottle from the shelf. My phone buzzed again. I already knew it was Hayes. I didn't even read his text. I just simply typed the word "goodbye" and sent the message. I hesitated for a moment before I typed my last text to him.

"I love you."
