~Bea's POV~
Anna and I pulled up to a house and got out.
"Dani's at the hospital right now. We're gonna drop off your stuff then meet up with the fam for dinner." She explained.
"Sounds good." I nodded.
"Are you and Dani gonna share a room or do I get a roommate for a bit?" She chuckled.
"Lemme text him." I replied. I decided to call him instead.
D- Hey babe.
B- Hey, Anna wants to know if you and I are sharing or me and her.
D- I wouldn't mind having you to myself for a bit.
B- Alrighty. *chuckles*
D- I gotta go, see you at dinner babe.
B- Byeee.
"Dani wants me to room with him." I told Anna.
"Well at least one night we have to have a sleepover."
"Deal. Where're we going for dinner?"
"Mexican place in town. Is that alright?"
"Yeah! I love Mexican."
"Oh, also, Dani's friend Angi is coming."
"Oh cool." I nodded.
"Not trying to scare you or anything. Just preparing you. Sometimes they can get a little flirtatious to each other. I'll sit beside you and Dani and if you get uncomfortable of anything just nudge me under the table or something and we'll go." She told me.
"Thank you, I appreciate it." I replied.

We pulled up to the restaurant and I saw Daniel walk up and hug a girl. A gorgeous girl.
"That's her." Anna told me.
"She's pretty." I replied.
"Eh. She's alright. C'mon, let's go." She added. So we got out of the car and I headed to where Dani was.
"There's my princess." He smiled as he hugged me tight.
"Hey baby." I chuckled.
"How was your flight?" He asked, still holding me in his arms.
"It was good. I met the sweetest old couple and they told me all about their marriage and it was really cute."
"Awe. Oh, Bea, this is my childhood friend Angi. Angi this is my girlfriend Bea." Daniel introduced us.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled as I shook her hand.
"You too. I'm a huge fan." She smiled.
"Awe thank you." I chuckled.
"Hey, Anna, Angi, could you two go get a table?" Dani asked.
"Yep. Any chance to escape the make out session." Anna laughed as I pushed her playfully.
"Here, I dunno when my mom will get here so c'mere." Dani told me. We went to his car and sat in the front seat.
"Sorry I just ran off the other night. You'd had a rough night and you needed sleep and I-" He started.
"Dani stop. You have no reason to apologize. I'm excited to meet your family." I smiled.
"After dinner I wanna take you to see my grandpa with me. I really want you to meet him." He told me as he took my hand in his.
"Sounds good." I replied. He kissed me before we saw his mom's vehicle pulling in.
"Hey momma." He said as he hugged her.
"Hey bubba, and you must be Bea! Daniel's told me so much about you!" She smiled as she hugged me too.
"It's very nice to meet you m'am." I smiled back.
"Oh c'mon. You don't need to call me m'am. Keri is just fine." She explained, warmly. We all headed in and found the table.
"Dad should be here soon." Anna told Daniel. He gave her a thumbs up.
"Ew, why did I order this." Dani cringed after sipping his drink.
"Here." I chuckled swapping our drinks.
"You sure?"
"I knew you hated coke so I ordered lemonade for you."
"Do you like coke?"
"Yeah." I shrugged. He kissed my cheek and drank his lemonade. Then Angi got a call and headed outside.
"I'm gonna go check on her." Daniel told me, without making eye contact. After about five minutes, his dad came.
"Oh and you must be Bea! I've heard so much about you!" He exclaimed as he hugged me.
"It's nice to meet you sir." I chuckled.
"You too! Where's Daniel?" He asked.
"Uhm, he went to check on Angi. He shouldn't be long." I nodded. We all sat back down and Anna nudged me.
"He's been gone for almost ten minutes now." She whispered to where only I could hear.
"It's okay- I'm sure he'll come back." I shrugged and nodded. But soon it was time for dinner. I ordered Daniel his favorite meal. And soon the food came. Anna and I waited for him, but our food was getting cold, so we went ahead and ate.
"Bea, it's been an hour and a half." Anna reminded me after their parents left.
"Yeah." I sighed as I stood up. I put his food in the to go box we asked for and Anna and I headed out.
"I'll take you by the house then I gotta go see papa." Anna told me as we left the restaurant.
"Dani was actually gonna take me to meet him after dinner. Do you mind if I come with?"
"That would be awesome actually." She smiled. When we got to the hospital, we went to the floor and started heading to his room when I heard a small voice.
"Bea!" Someone yelled. I turned around and saw a small girl walking around with her IV pole in tow.
"Hi gorgeous! What's your name?" I asked as I bent down to her height.
"I'm Amry."
"Well hello Amry. How are you doing?"
"I'm good now! I see you in Logan and Jake's vlog. But if anyone asks, I prefer Logan." She chuckled.
"Wanna FaceTime him?" I smiled. She nodded vigorously. I got out my phone and called Logan.
L- BP! Wassup?
B- Hey Log! I was on my way to see Dani's grandpa and I found a Logangster.
A- Hi!
L- Oh my gosh hi beautiful! What's your name?
A- I'm Amry!
L- Hi Amry! How old are you?
A- I'm 12.
L- Wow! I like your hat!
A- Thanks! My momma's getting me one made with Mavericks on it.
L- No way! That's amazing!
B- Hey bub, I gotta go.
L- Alright. Bye little sis. Bye Amry!
A- Bye!
I hung up and hugged Amry goodbye then Anna and I went on. When we got to the room, she went in ahead of me.
"Hey papa." She smiled softly.
"Oh, hello Anna." He smiled back.
"Papa, this is Daniel's girlfriend Bea." She introduced me.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Oh my goodness! Dani is absolutely head over heels for you dear. He talks about you every time he calls." He told me. We stayed for about an hour talking with him, Dani still hadn't returned any of my calls. After a while, Anna got a message.
"Oh. Papa, I gotta run. I'll be back tomorrow. Love you." She told him. We said our goodbye's and headed to the car. She handed me her phone and it had a picture of Dani and Angie in a park holding hands with her head rested on his shoulder and he was kissing her head.
"I don't know what's going on. But this isn't like him." She told me.
"Yeah." I sighed.
