Chapter 25

~Bea's POV~
Anna and I went to the house and changed into our pjs. Still no word from Daniel.
"You wanna do something crazy?" I sighed.
"Uh- duh!" Anna replied.
"Let's dye my hair brown." I shrugged.
"UHM. SO DOWN!" She nearly shouted, causing me to chuckle. We went to the store and got brown hair dye.
"Guy down the aisle is totally checking you out." Anna nudged me as we tried to decide what shade of brown to chose. I just shook my head and chuckled.
"Hi." He came up to me, smiling.
"Hi." I fake half smiled back.
"Bea right? Paul?"
"Yep."
"I'm friends with your boyfriend- Daniel."
"Oh cool- how do you know him?"
"We went to school together."
"Oh wow, cool." I nodded.
"Where is he?" He questioned.
"Not quite sure to be honest."
"Oh. Well if you see him tell him I'd like to see him again sometime."
"Will do." I fake smiled again. He waved slightly then walked away.
"I don't remember a Frank." Anna told me after he left. I just shrugged. We went home and dyed my hair then we laid down.
"It's Daniel." I said when my phone started to ring.
"Answer it!" She replied.
B- Hello?
D- Hey Bea.
B- Where have you been?
D- With Angi?
B- Daniel you ditched me at dinner with your family.
D- I didn't want to ditch you but Angi needed me.
B- Yeah.
D- Bea, don't be like that.
B- I'm gonna be however I want to be Daniel.
D- Look, I'll be home in the morning I-
B- In the morning?
D- Yes. I don't feel comfortable leaving Angi right now.
B- Okay. Bye.
D- Bea wait-
I hung up the phone and tossed it across the room. It was on speaker phone and Anna could hear it.
"Hey, it's okay." She told me as she rubbed my back and hugged me.
"Mind if I come in?" Tyler asked as he knocked on the door.
"Sure." I shrugged, wiping my tears away.
"Daniel's an idiot, Bea. But he loves you. But he and Angi have history. Talk to him. Don't shut him out. You don't want things to end up like they did with you and Zach." He reminded me. I nodded. That night, I fell asleep laying on Anna while we watched Lion King. I woke up when I felt someone carrying me.
"Why'd you come back?" I asked when I saw Daniel carrying me.
"Don't worry." He replied. He carried me to his room and laid me down on the bed then laid on the palate on the floor.
"Why're you down there?"
"I didn't really think you wanted to be near me right now."
"Daniel. Stop. C'mere." I told him. So he got up and came and laid down beside me.

The next morning when I woke up, Dani wasn't in the room. I put on my glasses and put my hair up before heading downstairs.
"Hey Ty. Where's Daniel?" I asked.
"I haven't seen him. Use that find my I phone thing. I made him turn it on." He suggested. So I grabbed Tyler's phone and pulled up the app.
"That would be Angi's house." Anna told me. I sighed and put his phone away. "Hey, how about you and I go out to breakfast?" She offered.
"Sure." I shrugged.

After I was ready, Anna and I went to the IHop down the road.
"Hello ladies, my name is Dale and I'll be your server today. What can I get you two gorgeous girls to drink?" Our server smiled.
"Water is fine." I nodded.
"Same here." Anna added, then he left. "Aye, look behind you and over by the bathrooms just a little."
"What? Why? Is that Daniel?!" I asked as I turned around and saw Daniel and Angi.
"Yep." Anna replied.
"Can I see that lipstick you have?" I questioned. She rummaged through her purse and handed me a gorgeous nude lipstick that matched my outfit so I applied it then stood up, adjusted my outfit to where it looked the best and headed toward the bathroom. Making sure to pass Daniel but not make it obvious I knew he was there. Once I got to the bathroom I texted Anna.
B- Did he even look at me?
A- Yep. Did his attempt at a lip bite thing then shook his head and went back to laughing with Angi.
B- Coming back out
I fixed my hair slightly then headed out, staring down at my phone, making sure to pass Dani again. When I got to the table with Anna, our server was back.
"Dani looks red hot angry oh my gosh." Anna was laughing after the server left. I couldn't help but giggle along.
"Hey B- what're you doing here?" Dani asked as he came over and sat down next to me.
"Having breakfast with Anna since you left again." I shrugged.
"Angi needed me. You can't seriously be mad at me for being there for my friend."
"She looks pretty okay to me." I replied motioning to where Angi was hardcore kissing some guy. "Oh my gosh you're jealous!" I gasped when Dani looked upset about it.
"What? That's ridiculous." He told me.
"Move." I demanded.
"Bea sto-"
"Daniel for your safety and mine, you need to move." I repeated. So he got up and I grabbed my purse and left.

"Bea? Can we talk about this?" He asked when he walked in on me packing later at home.
"Talk about what? How I came all the way out here for you and you ditch me for a girl you clearly have feelings for?"
"I don't have feelings for her!"
"You look at her the way you look at me! Dani if you don't have feelings for her you must not have feelings for me either because that is how you look at me." I started to cry.
"What is me admitting I might have feelings for her going to do? She just sees me as a little kid! Bea I wanna be with you." He told me as he took my hands in his.
"You know what. Sort out whatever this is. I'll be at home if you decide you really do want to be with me."
"I do want to be with you!"
"If you want to be with me you won't have feelings for anyone else. Call me selfish but when you're in a relationship with someone you're supposed to love only them like that. Not have feelings for someone. So figure it out Daniel." I told him.
