I died a little bit inside
I lay in tears in bed all night

David wasn't officially gone. He was in a coma that doctors believed he would never come out of.
When I walked into davids room i heard a beeb and it wouldn't stop. I looked at the screen and saw a straight line. I found it hard to breathe. Nurses pushing and shoving me. All I could do was fall to the floor.

I heard the steady beeb beeb beeb of the monitor. I looked up with blurry vision to see my boyfriend opening his eyes. I stood up quick and ran to his bed. I wrapped my arms around him. "I love you" I said crying in his shoulder. "I-I love you too liza" he said quietly hugging back.
