"Honcho what are you doing here" I ask "same thing as you and Valt...but what are you doing here at the tryouts?" "well...Valt made us very late and now as our punishment we have to do tryouts" I grit through my teeth "well I'm sure we'll win all three of us" Honcho then gives us a warm smile, then a whistle blows "hello fellow bladers my name is Trad I'm the bey trainer of the team and this is Chris the team owner you'll be competing to see who gets on the team"

"this is ganna be easy for me" I smile "first up is (y/n) (l/n) and Justin Hall" we step towards the stadium "survivor and ring out finishes are worth one point burts finishes are worth two point first blader to get two points wins" Trad then tell us to get our launchers and bey suddenly a orange haired boy came out of nowhere and sat on the floor
"ready? set!"

"Madness end this with one hit" as I say that his bey burst, Valt, Honcho and I won every match now its down to is three "next up to the stadium is (y/n) and Rentaro" we step up and I look at Honcho "I'm sorry Honcho but a girl's got to do what she got to do to get on the team" "do you know whats a million times a trillion cause thats not even half how pumped I am, I shred the competition" "ready? set!"

"Madness use Madness overload!" then his bey burst "(y/n) wins with a score of 2 - 0" I look to the side and see the orange haired male still sitting down "our finalists are (y/n) (l/n) and Valt Aoi" I look at Valt dead in his eyes "Valt...this is my revenge from you making us being so late" I look at Madness 'lets finish it as soon as it begins' "ready? set!"

as soon as Madness is in the stadium it takes the center "Valtryek use Rush launch" "it will take more than just a few hits to beat Madness" I look at Valtryek I see it pick up speed "now Valtryek use Spring winged launch" I look at Valt and see that he is totally in sync with Valtryek I then look at the beys as they collide it took some time before Valtryek was able to send Madness out of the stadium

"Valt you got lucky but your luck is about to end" I look at Madness 'do your best and dont let Valtryek beat you' "round two ready? set!"

"Valtryek use Rush launch" "Madness use Madness overload" the beys collided and it didnt take long before Valtryek burst "(y/n) wins with a score of 2 -1" "(y/n), Valt and Rantaro, you three have made it on the team" says Chris and gives us a warm smile "Chirs but what about the rules" says Trad "loosen up a bit Trad after all I am the boss" Chris then walks away, I walk out of the training center and begin to walk towards the woods nearby

"Madness this is our new home, I hope you get stronger and enjoy it here as much as I will" I then slid my back against a tree and slowly being to fall asleep

~Free's P.O.V~
I see (y/n) walk out but decided to not follow her I head towards my room I look out the window and see the sky as I think about Bc Sol when I first joined and to what it has become now, I walk out and walk towards the woods nearby

I keep walking and spot (y/n) sleeping up against a tree, I stealthily climb the tree and hang on the tree branch right above her inches away from her face "(y/n)..." I say quietly "(y/n)" I say louder "(y/n)!" she wakes up then she takes a whole minute to process what's happening

she then begins to blush "h-how long did I-I sleep f-for" she stutters "well depends if you came here since you left the training center then that would be 5 minutes" I reply as I climb down the tree "by the way your battle against Valt was fascinating" she looks at me and smiles "thanks, so Free how does it feel to be the top blader?" "well its kind of boring there aren't that many challengers their all easy to beat"

she looks at me and then stands up "well I have to go I'm getting kinda hungry" she then walks away until she's out of sight, I then walk deeper into the forest and do my daily routine

~Your P.O.V~
"thanks for the food Valt" "why didnt you get some food from the cafeteria (y/n)?" "because what would they say if I just showed up out of nowhere" I walk to my room with Valt not far behind "well at least tell me where you were" he closes the room door behind him

"you want to know really badly" "yes tell me" "I was in the forest nearby and took a nap" I give him a dorky smile "well lets go have a battle, Valtryek can beat Madness anytime" he says with determination "hmm...nah I need to take a nap" I reply to him "but you just had a nap" he whines "ok I'll battle you but once I come back from doing something" with that I open the door and head towards the forest

I went in deeper and deeper into the forest I then slid myself against a tree, take out my phone and see a picture of Shu and I hugging each other with a smile on our faces "you had me at a point where I would have left the entire world behind for you" a tear rolls down my cheek and lands on my jeans "(y/n)?..."
