I tried my best not to cry as I looked at Noah. I didn't care what Ellie said. I had to ask him.
"What's up?" He asked.
"Noah, do you SWEAR you'd never lie to me?" I asked. He nodded.
"Of course. Why?" I frowned and looked at my lap.
"Ellie told me that you told her I wanted Jack to dump her," a tear dripped off my face. His eyes widened.
"And you believed her?" He asked, "I'd never say that, it's not even true!"
"I know, but she had screenshots and I just wasn't sure," I explained. Now he had tears running down his face.
"I didn't. I promise," he cried biting his lip. I nodded. "Please believe me Alex, I'd never lie to you or do that!"
"I believe you," I smiled.
"Then what's going on?" He asked sadly.
"I don't know," I sighed. "All I know is that Ellie is even more of a snake than I thought."
