On the opposite side of the Kent estate, not far from the main grounds, Allasandra parked her car in a rustic village. The smell of wood smoke saturated the air as she stealthily made her way towards the estate grounds. She followed a worn goat trail hoping to gain access to Kent Estate unobserved.

The day was sultry and hot. She struggled on the narrow trail as dry brush and shrubbery caught the hem of her evergreen dress threatening to tear it.

Stopping besides a stunted bush, she pulled the viewing globe from her satchel, quickly scanning for Una Bella's location. Her face held a focused look of concentration until she was eventually satisfied the vampire princess wasn't at home. Continuing along the trail, she made her way towards the estate.

She arrived at the main courtyard without interference due to the swelling military ranks of battalions dominating grounds.

Lucius is lucky I have his back. He would never be able to repel such an invasion without me.

Casting a glamor spell, she changed her form to emulate Una Bella's, then stealthily slipped into the estate through the servant's entrance. Finding the main hall empty, she freely roamed the opulent rooms, searching for Michael.

The house estate servants observed what they assumed was their Mistress with trepidation, Their gazes followed  her path fearfully. She passed wordlessly before them, gliding over the marble floors soundlessly until a dark blonde, middle aged servant in tailored formal attire emerged from the shadows surprising her.

"Mistress Una Bella, you have returned." He seemed unsure of her presence.

"Where is Master Kent?" She issued the question as a command, delighting in the musical sound of her own voice masquerading as Una Bella's. The glamor spell made her feel like she was wielding a maestro's baton as they all danced around obeying her will.

Before the servant could answer, she heard her name called. Spinning around she encountered a man with lighter blonde hair, a handsome man she recognized as Michael's uncle.

Damn. What does this one want with me?

She scanned his thoughts acquiring his name, then smiled brightly. She stepped in front of him inhaling to make her breasts more prominent.

"William, I am in a hurry. Where is Michael?"

"He's on the main field Mistress Una Bella" He hesitated before proceeding. "You were supposed to be addressing the Vatican problem in Rome. Why have you retuned so soon, Mistress?" He held up the matching globe he'd found in Michael's room.

"Are you insane?" The Vatican is every body's problem!"

"I'm not insane that's why I'm no longer part of this coup."

Snatching the globe from him she turned to go, but William grabbed her arm. He looked at her with an open burning desire. Inwardly, he questioned her motives.

Allasandra found impersonating Una Bella was a heady experience.  She had never experienced such adulation in her true form, but William's next sentence threw her from gloating into fear.

"I have done as you asked, alas I have not found the witch you seek." His hands reached forward to gently cup her bosom.

"Witch? What witch."

It was a matter of seconds before Allasandra saw the mistake she'd made. William was no longer  besotted with her. She saw rage and understanding in his eyes.  He knows I'm not Una Bella.

"What are you?" His voice came out in a hiss as his fangs extended.

He turned and yelled to the servants, "Raise the alarm, there's an intruder!"
