"It's good to see you again." He placed his hand on top of her head.

"Where have you been, baka!" Sasumi slapped his hand away as she ran past him.

"Sasumi-chan, wait!" He began to run after her but was stopped when he felt an arm wrap around his own.

"Hino-kun! It's been so long!" Naruko cheered up behind him

"Hino-kun! It's been so long!" Naruko cheered up behind him.

"Naruko-chan?" He turns with a soft glance.

"Let's go somewhere!" She took his hand.

"But-" He was cut off as his legs began to move, causing him to run along with Naruko.

They had reached the rooftop where Naruko let go leaving him panting hardly.

"Oh, sorry! I forgot!" Naruko panicked, patting him on the back.

"Why did you bring me here?" He smiled.

"Where have you been?" Her tone changed into a serious one.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to worry you." He lowered his eyes.

"Worry me? You had me worrying already! Do you know what it's like having not hear from your own best friend in 10 years!"

"I'm sorry." He said.

"Not only had you had me worried, you had everyone else worried too! Even Sasumi-chan!"

"Sasumi-chan was?" His eyes darted to her.

"Your condition. How is it?" Naruko asked ignoring his statement.

"It's getting better, geez don't worry about me so much." He patted her head.

"By the way, do you have any idea where Sasumi-chan might be? She tried to talk to me earlier but then ran away."

"I see so she- uh I mean try the flower garden at the back of the school. She usually loves it there." Naruko pointed down so he could see where.

"Thank you." He waved goodbye as he left downstairs.

Sasumi admired the white lilies around her. She never understood why but for the past three years she had attended this school, it had become her happy place.

"Mind if I take a seat here?" She heard as her eyes met his.

"I don't know, I'm pretty sure my imaginary friend would get mad." She answered sarcastically as the bench was empty.

"I'll take that as a yes." A sweat drop appeared on his forehead as he sat down.

"S-Sorry I bursted out on you like that." She pouted.

"It's okay, I probably deserve it." He laughed softly.

"So, where have you been?" She asked.

"I've been busy." He replies.

"Busy with what?" She asks nervously.

Would it be good to tell her? I wonder what expression she would show if I told her.

"Sasumi!" They hear as a certain pink haired guy comes into view.

"Hino? Is that really you?!" Saku asks as he pats him on the back.

Who is this person again?

"Saku? What's wrong?" Sasumi answers his question.

He takes another look at him and then it clicks in his mind.

"Well I was looking for you and was wondering if you would like to go to the movies with me?" He asked blushing.

"No way." She replied immediately.

"Rejected." He sulked.

"Next time then!" He waved goodbye as he left.

"You rejected him so quickly." Hino laughed.

"Well I want my first date to be with someone I actually like." She grabbed her book bag.

"Well, do you want to go to the movies with me then?" He leaned his face closer to hers.

"Eh?" She blushed quickly.

"So is that a no?" He frowned.

"It's not a no, you just surprised me that's all." She looked away from him.

"So it's a date then." He smiled as she blushed.

"Don't call it that!" She hit his shoulder.

"Eh but you like me." He teased.

Suddenly remembering her own words she reddened.

"I do not!" She yelled.

"Do too." He smiled.

"Do not!" She yelled again.

"Do not." He changed the words.

"Do too!" She ended up saying.

"See I told you." He smiled.

"Hino-kun!" She began to chase him as he ran away.
