We walk through the entrance of the garden. The music so loud you could hear it from down the road.

Guys and girls stood outside playing beer pong on the big table or making out around corners.

"Ashley" shoots Jason, putting emphasis on the y. "Is the party animal out to play?" He jokes as he spins be around in his arms.
"That you'll have to find out, Mr. Erwin" I kiss him on the cheek and hug him a little tighter than normal.

It feels good to be back to my old self, nearly back.

"C'mon lets go get you a drink" he grabs my hand and jess' dragging us through the crowd of people at his house. "I have someone I want you to meet" he smiles at me as he passes me a red cup filled with his dangerous mix of alcohol. His special punch he makes me big house parties.
"Please don't set me up with any of your sleaze ball friends" I say holding up my hands "I've had enough sneeze balls to last me a life time"
He holds up his hands in defeat "if you don't like him you can punish me" he winks and then around to tap a guy in his shoulder "this is the infamous Ashley i mentioned" he points towards me "and this" now pointing towards jess "is her best friend"

What's he trying to do?
Set us up with a three sum?
No thank you!

"Hi, I'm Liam" his smile is bright and genuine "Hi" he says to Jess, offering her a small gentle smile.
"I'm going to find Kyle" she quickly says leaving us.
"How do you know Jason?" Liam asks
"He's one of my best friends actually" I smile at him and look towards Jason wanting to kill him for this awkward encounter.
"That's nice" he smiles politely.
This conversation is as dry and the desert.

A man I recognise from last night appears behind him tapping Liam on the shoulder so her turns around "I'm going to go" he says
"No you can't go, the party hasn't even started yet!" He claims.
Jack.. jack, that's his name it springs to mind.
Jack rolls his eyes at Liam and notices me.
"This is" Liam says
"Ashley!" Jack says, I can't believe he remembered my name.
Liam steps aside confused "you know each other?" He asks looking back and fourth between the two of us.
I nod my head.
"We met last night" jack says
"Thank you, again, jack" I say. I notice my smile getting bigger, growing each second I stare at him.
Jack smiles back, his smile mirroring mine. "You're most welcome, Ashley"
Liam's face grows concerned, at what, I don't know "so you guys hooked up? I don't want sloppy seconds" he raises his hand "You're both welcome to each other"
I roll my eyes as does jack "that's not a way to talk to a women is it, Liam" Liam stares at Liam trying to figure out his emotion as am I "And no nothing happened between us" I quickly say.
Liam faces me and his smile brightens "good to hear" he says stepping closer to me.

I step aside out of his reach and jack laughs "make sure you don't fall" he says with a wink.
"Don't worry, I don't plan on it. Not tonight anyway" my voice more flirty then intended "plus I have my knight to save me, once again" we both laugh and I notice Liam getting more irritated each moment we spend together.

Why would Jason set me up with Liam? He isn't my type nor will he ever be my type.

Jack and I step outside to the back yard to get some fresh air.
"Do you like these sort of parties?" He asks me as he sips on Jason's special punch.
"I use to, but then I got with this guy and he made me change everything" I say, this punch should be called truth punch. "Do you?" I ask intrigued
He shakes his head "no, I can't have fun at this sort of thing" he says waving his hand about.

Jack isn't the sort of guy I go for, but something about him draws me in towards him. He's tall, tanned and really handsome. Dark brown hair pushed back and styled with a small amount of product.

"I'll make you a deal" I say, anxiously.
He takes a moment to think, running his hand through his hair "tell me the terms and I'll consider" his smile grows shyly.
Hmm, ok. I quickly think of something. Game on. "I help you enjoy this party, if I fail miserably you get to show me what it is you like to do for fun?" I ask, hoping he would agree to my plan.
"Deal, Ashley. But I very much doubt that you'll win." Hi voice is husky and his tone challenging.
We shake hands and I gaze around setting my eyes on my first goal.
"Follow me" I say, he grabs hold of my hand instantly sending butterflies wild in my stomach.

"Ashley" Jason shouts from the beer pong table were making our way over to "new game, you joining?" He asks.
"Beer pong? You already know the answer to that, Jason" I smile
"Ok, it's a twist" he says smirking "it fear pong"
My puzzlers fave must be easy to tell, he goes on to tell us the rules of the game "you do the dare to drink your drink, loser has to drink a pint of the special punch" he smiles.

I turn to jack who's standing besides me "ready?" I ask with a wicked grin, everyone loves beer pong don't they?
He nods his head "Yes, but you'll loose"
"He's on my team and jess is on yours" Jason's says pulling jack towards his end.
"Girls first?" Asks jess "it's the gentleman thing to do Jason" she smiles while rubbing her hand together.
Jason throws the ball to her and she catches "if you must but you'll loose, jess"

Jess throws the first ball, eye focused and on her target.

"YES!" She shouts fill ofenthusiasm.
"Fuck" says Jason as he picks up the dare "ring your ex and tell them you're still in love with them" he says taking out his phone to ring one of his many ex girlfriends.

Jack takes the next shot, aiming and getting the first ball into our cup. I pick up the cup and there isn't a dare under this one, so I drink the drink.

I take my aim, focusing on the middle cup second row. The last one I need to get to win the game.
"C'mon Ashley" Jess says "you can do this" egging me on. I take a deep breath and take my shot, watching it bounce off the table and into the cup! Jess and I both cheer and hug celebrating our new win.

The night dies down and the weakest have left, leaving the true party to start. The part where the night really begins, more drinking games, more fun.

Jack takes me to the side leading the way holding onto my hand "hey" he whispers, we haven't had a moment together just the two of us, not properly.
"Hey yourself" I say with. Cheeky tone "did you have a good night?" I ask hoping I'd win our little deal.
He sighs and places one of his hands on the wall behind me, the other running through his hair "I have to admit. I didn't think you'd have it in you, if I'm being honest"
I gasp in shock "not have it in me? Well I have to say, jack; I am insulted"

His smile broadens and his free hand traces my jaw. Slowly he moves his face closer, it seems to take forever to reach mine and our eyes stay locked. His lips reach mine, his hand moves to my neck and the other still against the wall, my arms wrap around his neck, my fingers find themselves in his hair twisting and pulling the more intense the kids gets.

Slowly we stop kissing but our faces still very close together "I'll take that as I win" I say with cockiness and pride.
"That you do, Ashley" he kisses the corner of my mouth "but I'd still like to show you what I do" he says with a wide smile "if you want?"
"I'd love to!" I state "you just tell me when" I whisper.
"Tomorrow.. 12pm. I'll pick you up"
