But they can both live with that. They're both happy with that. As long as they have each other.
"Why do you like coffee so much?" Dorothy asked out of the blue. They're already used to asking random questions all the time. It became their usual thing after weeks of getting to know each other.
"It reminds me of something."
"Really? Of what?"
"Kidding. It reminds me of nothing."
Dorothy pouted. "Can we visit the beach if there's a chance? I'm almost out of money buying coffee everyday! Now I'm broke as fu—"
"Don't curse," Finn cut her off.
Dorothy pouted even more. "Just... let's go to the beach, okay?"
Finn rolled his eyes. "Fine. Why do you want to go to the beach anyway?"
"It reminds me of something."
"Of what?"
Dorothy gave her cute awkward smile. "Kidding! It reminds of nothing. I'm just broke."
Finn didn't answer. Dorothy didn't answer back. The silence enveloped the room.
They just stared at each other.
Eye to eye.
Soul to soul.
It reminds them of everything.
