The Great Glowing coils of the Universe

In a city, very much unlike ours, A radio plays quietly.

"The Angels watch over us, and the city council refuses to acknowledge their existence.

Only Old Woman Josie will recognize them.

The Glow cloud hums quietly,it's pulsing lights sending toddlers to sleep,

It rarely drops dead animals since it joined the school board. "

Cecil sighs.

"Listeners do you ever wish you were with Carlos, Perfect,Beautiful Carlos , who's in bed lonely and cold right now? Oh Station Management has sent me a note through their door better get back on task and now the community calendar"

The wind blows softly, or did it? How would we know if we couldn't feel it?=

The interns settle in for the night, as interns never go home. They knew what they signed up for

"Tonight we have several important notices, The Sheriff's Secret Police kindly reminds everyone to leave Monday alone, it is not its fault you are not prepared."

Carlos turns over in bed, smiling as he listens to Cecil's soothing voice.

"Next on the calendar, It's almost June! You know what that means Nightvale? The Summer Reading Program, last year's winner, well-read warrior Tamika Flynn, has declined to make a statement, not that we've tried to reach her. Remember, approach librarians with extreme caution!"

Hiram Mcdaniels stops writing in his blog for a moment, and thinks about running for mayor again. Can you imagine? A literally five headed dragon as mayor, pff.

"The City Council would like everyone to know: If you see something, say nothing and drink to forget it. Other reminders include, ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD,HAIL THE GLOW -"

Intern Dana smacks Cecil on the side of the head before he can finish being possessed.

"Sorry Listeners, Now our daily proverb, Give reason a shot,it has never once worked in history but it might this time

And now the weather"
