I fell asleep under the night sky

Then found myself wandering

In a deserted,derelict,desolate trail

The tall evergreens looming before me

Made everything impossible to see.

Hurrying faster, space closing in, voices of those gone haunting me

But then,I see a light, one that shines bright, an end to this godforsaken night.

"Finally" I gasp, anxious to be there

Instead of running, I am forced to walk, by some unseen force

Talking to myself lest I go insane, Yet the worse is about to come

Faces of people long betrayed,Fears forgotten come to pray

"This can't be real, it just can't be"

Every demon I have banished, Every Sin I've sinned

Coming back to destroy my never fully sane mind.

Suddenly

A Trapdoor creaks at my feet,

And I'm falling, screaming, wanting this horror to end.

Right before I reach my death,

I awake, again under the night sky
