[Humour / Adventure] The World of Living Apples has always thought about what happens after an apple dies. I'm an apple. And I died. Others told me I had to be the test subject for their experiment. For that, I had to kill myself by fire. I killed myself so that I could tell everyone what happens after an Apple dies. But what happens after an Apple dies? Quests and battles. Having a voice in your head. Loving for the first time. And, eventually, a split between paths, a choice that has to be made, and a conditional heartbreak. [Cover by @MissMysteryGame, thank you!!] [Completed & Writing Extras]

"Roar." My head whipped back like he had smacked me. "Did... did you just 'roar' at me." A look of embarrassment crossed his features quickly, but I saw it before it passes. "It's my name." "Your name is Roar?" He nodded. "Crap! That's cool as shit. You know, we're gonna be good friends, Roar." "Nice try. Come on you should be in the building when I report you." My jaw dropped. "Are you kidding? I thought we were bonding here, brown eyes." I wearily watched as he finally moved. He made his way towards me and quickly leaned down grabbing the crook of my elbow and pulling me up. "Let's go," he grunted. "You suck, you know that?" "It's my job." *** Nelle's seventeen years old and cannot read. She's dyslexic and has never learned how to overcome it. She's in her last year of High School and so close from graduating. She's almost made it through her whole schooling without anyone noticing her illiteracy. That is until someone does notice. His name's Goodwin Balanchine. At first he found her illiteracy humorous, but when he realized the extensity and seriousness he decided to take things into his hands and to teach her how to read. Of course stubborn Nelle resisted at first, but in the end without even knowing or realizing it she warmed up to Win and found that he really was teaching her. Can one boy really trick her into learning to read? Can he be the one and only person able to take up the difficult task of getting through to stubborn Nelle?

They vanished, one by one. At first, it was just a rumor-a student skipping town, a sudden transfer, a quiet departure no one questioned. But then, the numbers grew. Friends disappeared without warning, their names erased as if they had never existed. Teachers whispered, glancing over their shoulders. Parents either looked away or were silenced, bribed into forgetting. The academy carried on, its halls undisturbed, its reputation spotless. No one searched. No one fought back. No one even knew where the missing had gone. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, it stopped. A full year of silence. A fragile, uneasy peace. Until now. Because the disappearances have started again.
