Chapter 12

Avni's POV:

"Okay!!! Fine, I'll tell you everything" Aaryan said.

"Yes, go on." I said folding my hands.

"Are you trying to seduce me snuggle bear?" Ryan asked.

"Seduce you, oh! Please... stop diverting me, tell me the truth right now" I said in anger.

"My tongue will betray if you start showing off your assets. I won't be responsible for my actions" he said with a smirk.

I saw myself again, and said "you are the greatest pervert I have ever seen in my life"

He started laughing, to be frank I got goose bumps seeing him like that.

He was looking beyond handsome!!

Before my brain starts thinking some naughty stuffs. I asked him to tell me the truth.

He sat in a huge couch which was near the window and pulled me closer to him. He held my hands and started

"You know Maahi is my sister and Jay is my best friend. We literally grew up together. I don't know when they fell in love with each other. I was the first one to find out about their relationship.

Jay and Maahi share every tiny thing with me. We don't keep secrets.

Everything was going perfectly, until we got the news that your dad is planning to sell you for the highest bidder.

We planned everything to save you.

Initially we planned to know about your condition because you didn't have any freedom which a normal slave would have.

It was a tough decision. We had to make sure you are in safe hands, so Maahi volunteered to be with you and protect you. But there was a big threat ahead of us. 

That's your dad!"

I interrupted him and said "My dad!! How?"

He kept his fingers on my lips and shut my mouth.

"Let me continue... you will understand everything." He said and continued "Yes your dad!! He neither allowed you to speak to anyone nor make any friends. Your dad is a mastermind. He would do background check of anyone who would try to approach you. If your dad approves then the bodyguards would allow them to have a conversation with you.

It was tough for everyone especially Maahi to maintain a long-distance relationship with Jay. At least he had a satisfaction of knowing her condition because of bodyguards. She couldn't contact anyone of us directly. Medium of our contact would be some codes which she used to send information. But..."

Before he could continue doors suddenly opened.

Mr. Smith came inside and said" sorry sir, I understand that you didn't wanted anyone to disturb, but this is really important."

Ryan signalled him to continue "Sir, Mr. Aaron's assistant has sent contract papers of Mr. Kapoor's assets. I just need Mrs. Aryan Malhotra's signature to transfer the ownership".

He kept the file on the table and went outside.

I was enraged couldn't control my emotions "what the holy cow is happening here? It's all because of property. If you wanted money I would have given everything to you. Even you turned out selfish like my dad. I unknowingly started falling for you even though whatever you did to me... but you know what, you are not worth it, any of it."

I pushed the door and ran to the elevator. Before the door could close he entered inside fuming in anger.

I was scared to see him in such condition. I heard his workers speaking about him being ruthless.
